The rest of the roster has played up to good value this season but could be a bit debatable. |

Jacksonville made their first possession look easy, quick seven points on the board. What are we arguing about tonight? |

Now kindly STFU. - Load Management
Maybe do a little research instead of just reading headlines.
First of all, Garland never went public with a trade request like you claim. Management came forward and said that they have given Garland's agent permission to find a trade partner. So we can assume he made a request in private...
When asked about this, he still chose not to make a public request even though he was put on the spot by management.
The information that contradicts your claim is in the very stories you just posted.

What would you call it then, when every GM in the league knows you want to be traded, and you and your team has given your agent permission to help negotiate it? Because it definitely isn't private. Private is pretty much the opposite. |

Because the details remain private for the most part, the public can only assume.
"One player has also publicly asked for a trade"
As far as going public... that was definitely not Garland. You already lost track of what I disagreed with...

No, once he gave permission to his agent to negotiate with every GM in the league, that's a very public trade request. It doesn't matter if they were in a bunker under the ocean when he asked his agent to do so, he was asking him to make something common knowledge. Hence public.
So, again, kindly STFU. |

Most likely he asked for a trade privately, yes. However he never publicly asked for a trade like we have been debating.

PA publicly gave Garland's agent permission. You said... as I have quoted in bold that Garland publicly asked for a trade. No big deal if you meant something else. You are choosing to play the shell game instead. Now you are picking up the usual confused passengers on here.

Garland had to give his agent permission first and foremost. He works for Garland not the Canucks. So, the very public request made through his agent had to be cleared by Garland regardless of what he says in the media. It's pretty straightforward. I'm right, you're wrong. Take the lesson and do something positive with it. |

From watching the games and not looking at stat sheets, I notice Garland a lot more than I notice Kuz. One thing I did notice about Kuz when he was scratched recently, was that the team played just fine without him, especially on the PP. - Marwood
Citing points does not mean I'm only reading stat sheets holy poop

I'm with ya Northy. One player has also publicly asked for a trade. The other took his trip to the press box seriously and hasn't moped around it. I'll take the one that wants to be here, has a higher ceiling and better attitude. The problem is, for the reasons above, Kuzmenko is more moveable than Garland. - Load Management
Yeah, the Garland trade talk only quieted down because the team had a hot start. If they come out losing it's a completely different story.
Kuzmenko is talented and committed, he has things he needs to work on, but clearly he's willing to put in the time and effort. Easy to forget we're talking about a 6th year NHLer vs. A 2nd year guy. |

He could have easily conceded that he meant something else from the start. He's just having some fun i guess with the switcheroo over and over.

Your original claim...
"One player has also publicly asked for a trade"
Even in the links you posted, he refused to confirm what you claim he publicly asked for. Try your best to find him confirming he requested a trade...
You can't so keep spinning.

To the bolded, again, he asked every GM in the league through his agent. That's reality. Not spinning. It's also a public request because every GM in the league knows about it. You're over complicating it because you know you're wrong. |
