I'm curious to see what Foote and Gonchar can do for him. If they can turn Myers into an acceptable d-man then they should be able to do the same with Z. - bloatedmosquito
Calgary's D has been good for a while. Some good coaches their as well.

Really? I hate Edmonton and Toronto way more. But long time Canuck fans feel that Calgary has always been their biggest rivals. That surprises me. - bloatedmosquito
All those tight playoff battles in the late 80's-early 90's. And the Iggy vs. Naslund era. There is a lot of rivalry there.

I didn't really want Zadorov when we had a healthy roster, but this seems like a great deal at a time of depth crisis. Between this and the Beau trade, Allvin is impressing the hell out of me.
No doubt, I never said his career should be over. I just don't want him on the Canucks, the vibes are so good right now, why introduce a potentially toxic situation for such a small benefit? - NorthNuck
I don't think he's joining anyone soon but I would add him in the spring for a playoff run without hesitating.

True, but I thought the Chicago rivalry had replaced that. Same can be said about the Avalanche. Not much has gone on between Calgary and Van since, well...
