I agree, and I think that is why Davidson needs to sign some decent players next offseason + hope that Nazar/Moore show enough to come and be impact players in the NHL. Neither of them needs to be a star in their 1st season, but something along the lines of Richardinson is totally possible. That way the team is more competitive and 98 is somewhat happy.
The Isles were messed up, and they pretty much shot themselves in the foot. Hopefully the Blackhawks are a bit smarter and realize they can't just sit back and follow a model where they are going to build exclusively through the draft. - captainserious
Not a Tavares fan, good player that puts up points, but not sure he’s captain material and he’s below average defensively. It was a mistake for the Leafs to sign him, he was a luxury not a necessity. As much talent as they have upfront, they are a mess on the backend. When McCabe is your #2, you ain’t winning a cup, and their #1 defenseman sucks defensively as well. |

I meant Richardinson in my post(regarding Nazar and Moore)
For the most part I agree on Tavares, just making a comparison of a highly touted #1 pick leaving the team that drafted him for his hometown team- since Wiz said 98 still loves his Canucks.
Not sure what the timeline was etc..but what I'm hoping for,is 98 having a situation similar to Stamkos. Instead of bolting for his hometown team,he stuck with the team that drafted him because they had some success.
Anyways this is all a few years in the future.
How about a 98 hat trick tonight against the blues,or maybe even a 4 goal game |

All good, you mentioned Tavares and I posted how I felt about him. I’ll take the win tonight and hope that Soderblom has a good game, doubt that Mrazek goes back to back. |

Interesting that they sent Kaiser and Roos to the Rock and were only left with six defensemen, maybe Vlasic is ready to draw back in? I hope so, no more Tinordi please. - Angotti
Fwiw - Vlasic was listed as a scratch yesterday (least I am pretty sure that I saw that on the lineup data on NHL.com.

Is this info from the same source who told you Toews had ALS. Come on Wiz your strength is in ranking draft prospects not in starting and passing stupid rumours. - paulr
And not the one who told me Rocky died having a colonoscopy either.
I stated my opinion that I BELIEVE that the Blackhawks were never a place the Bedards saw as a likable destination.
I think if any of you ever get to read or hear from some other place that they were open to where the balls roll, but right now, it isn't just a player deciding who he feels about all things pro hockey.
The kid will probably have his sole opinion on the matter by he is old enough to bolt, but right now, the management have gone to great lengths to please mom & dad....more than did fro toes and Kane.
You can believe whatever the frank you want.
Actually believed the Toews story b/c the person was always one point, but I am glad that I errored so guys like you have some power over me, but I don't think you will gain any from my lasted posting / opinion, b/c we have to wait this one out.
I plan to be around for at least two possible Bedard contracts and wish you well and hope you are too.

Why not Bedard go to college?
Because he doesn't want to learn about the history of American Facism, with Prequel as required reading, or business, he wants to be on the ice stick in hand at least 6 hours a day.

I think Tavares gave the Isle 10 years? If the kid wants to go to Vancouver after 10 years not much they can do about it

Per Ben Pope, no update on the backend.
Tyler Johnson is the latest Blackhawks injury. He did not travel with the team to St. Louis. Cole Guttman will draw into the lineup.
Soderblom will start against the Blues in the two teams’ third meeting in the last month. |

In part Tavares wanted to leave because the Isles didn’t win and weren’t poised to. If the Hawks win and are winning when Bedard is a UFA I’m sure he’ll be happy to stay in Chicago. |

Wiz knows people in the organization it he doesn’t want me to divulge who they are wiz also has friends who are around the team. This for decades and still some nowadays |

Good for him. But he’s been wrong spreading rumours in the past and yet continues to do so. He does an amazing job of ranking and describing prospects then he makes an ass of himself by trying to be the National Enquirer and spreading incorrect information. |

I question if we could get much for Johnson at trade deadline. We have to pay much of the contract fir starters. Maybe a third round and maybe not even a ‘24 pick
Other: I am not going to say that KK, Tinordi, Zaitsev are better right now than what you would get from Kaiser and Roos. I realize Tinordi is here to handle pugilist duty and supposedly he is a veteran who experience matters. I don’t mind Zaitsev as an extra but bus contract we are stuck with it. KK cannot go to AHLthis year which is where he should be leaning. I bet that Roos and Kaiser have improved and have less serious issues to work in NOW than KK. Really right now what better performance do we get out of KK. I love his future but KK needs to develop more than the other guys |

I think Nazar is going to be good. Like all these guys except super special players like Bedard - it takes 2 full NHL years for them to start to show their ceiling so it's pretty doubtful either would make a huge impact straight away.
Like everyone says now is the hard part. I think you keep D1ckensen around and probably Foligno for at least another year. Then they gotta get one really really good forward from somewhere.
The guys from CHGO had a feller on that was talking about Ottawa going through a huge culture change and that the environment DJ Smith built was like a country club. Maybe they move a "key" guy to send a message and make room for another veteran or two. (always liked Zawaski from his days on the score, the dude is Chicago sports through and through. Dont' always agree but he seems a decent fellow)
Should be an interesting rest of the year even if they are still getting their ass kicked. |

Yes, I was expecting more from him this year. Maybe he’ll pick it up the second half, because on this team he’s a top six forward. |

I guess that is why they call it the Blues….
……when ST L Blues down 4-2 after two periods
Notably not to detract from Bedard’s remarkable goal but Raydysh had three assists tonight
Good read SCORE app each NHL team top prospect in the WJC
Jiricik Buffalo had 15 goals in 21 AHL contests this season. Our guy is the Czech goaltender. |
