The Bedard/Kurashev/Foligno line getting their butts kicked again, this has been going on for a few games, time to break up that line.

Hey Lou, did you read that piece at The Athletic about Reichel? .... One of the posters brought up some excellent points about LR's bouncing around Reichel, never using a timeout, something I noticed was LR running the same line out, usually Bedard's, after a goal was scored on them and another follows vs that line 20 seconds later and how Bedard's line is getting crushed on possession, and all the fancies, with Foligno on that line.

On the bolded, who is so far tonight?

Richardinson and Foligno has had chemistry, don’t understand why LR decided to break them up.

Generally speaking, a coach would pull the goalie after giving up 4 after 23 minutes but with the fragile Soderblom on the bench Mrazak sees no mercy and is left in as cannon fodder.

I have been told I am supposed to be happy that the Hawks lose, it’s all about getting Cellebrini.

So as I take a sip of my 1942, happy new year everyone.!!!

When the season started the 3rd line was Perry-D!ckenson-Foligno and it was by far their best. Maybe Game 8-10 he broke the line up and back then I thought, hmmm. ....... He has 1 line he can depend on in all 3 zones and he breaks it up?

Looks like LR is a constant tinkerer, for better or worse.

No I don’t have access to The Athletic, but I would not be surprised if the fancies sucked with Foligno on that line. Foligno is fine, just not in the top six. I know LR doesn’t have many choices, but there are a couple, and Reichel is one of them. Just move Reichel there for ten games like Scott mentioned the other day, what’s there to lose?

You can be happy the way Kurashev drew that penalty cuz he kept his feet moving. There's that, LA!! Nice play and effort.

Dallas feed says Hawks have given up 35+ shots in 4 of their last 5 games. ..... Only a matter of time until Mrazak goes down.

Young D getting exposed, to be expected. Imagine if we had just any other goaltender in the nets.

The Hawks can pick up Samssnov on waivers, or Eric Comrie.

IIRC Bedard's possession numbers are best when Danato is up on L1. ...... Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only thing LR has been consistent with is Kurashev and Bedard on the same line.

Other than that its been a line blender. Would love to see anything put together for a 10 game stretch but it seems 2-3 games is all LR needs to see before he switches it up, again.

With Reichel the tell to me game to game is does he have his nose over the puck? When he does his skating and quick twitch make him dangerous. If he's stick waving he's in for 9:00 TOI........ LR is saying he wants the kid to shoot more, carry it more and pass less. If not, no matter if he puts up excellent fancies, he takes away Reichel's TOI and kicks him down a few lines the next game.

Yea, I can imagine what a train wreck it would be without Mrazak. That's why I wanna see them ink him for 2-3 yrs, preferably 3, cuz it'll take at least that long for Commesso to come up and be a back up for a yr or 2.

Katchook was brought up as t Raddysh is on IR. But we continue to see Blackwell and R. Johnson. We know one RFA that won’t be resigned. Thought he took a step forward after the TDL last year, but LR apparently doesn’t like his game, as even when he was on the team, he was more healthy scratched then playing.

And the rookie Dmen have yet to hit the rookie wall. They're getting near the half way mark in the season so that rookie wall is coming for all of em. ...... It'll probably get worse before it gets better.
