Shat show of epic proportion. Unfortunately, Buffalos stock is sinking further as a result. The only hope we had to attract some of the better talent in the league was this off season, while optimism in our team was high.

I'm usually one of the more optimistic ones...I'm at an absolute loss for words at how poorly this year has gone. At least he's vocalizing it so to speak. I'm just dumbfounded and numb at this point.

I'm just baffled at the amount of people who continue to watch a bad product, and then come here to a blog to complain, thinking that somehow their complaining will force Pegula to sell the team to someone who will install a REAL President of Hockey Operations, who will then hire a REAL GM.

I love hockey and love the Sabres. I grew up in Cape Breton, a Scottish heritage island in northern Nova Scotia. My oldest brother was a die-hard Sabres fan. Gil was his idol. It was infectious, his passion for the Sabres and the French Connection. I couldn’t wait as a kid for the French or English broadcast of Hockey night in Canada when the Canadiens were playing the Sabres.
I’ve been a life long fan for all of my 49 years. I can’t imagine winter without Sabres hockey. My kids watch with me now.
It’s part of who I am.

I mean, give up on the team and move on at this point, it's not a bad idea. I just enjoy the Sabres personally and wouldn't pick another team unless they moved. Different strokes for different folks...but I don't really understand bashing Washy because he's critical...that seems to be par for the course, no?
