Not sure but remember watching a NYR game recently and IIRC he was out...... Trouba can end a player's season very easily and he seems to have no problems doing so.

I'm ok with sitting any of the rookie Dmen as long as they're not confused as to why. Phillips had a rough game a couple back and he's been scratched twice ever since. ..... But, no reason to be scratched once let alone twice. Kid has skated the most minutes of the Dmen in a couple games recently so he's been good.

Hopin LR told the kid we're gonna give you a couple games off just for some rest. Also hope the kid is watching K'Andre Miller cuz their styles are similar, and Miller has turned into a fine NHL Dman.

Just cause he wasn't in on Nylander and said now isn't the time to sign guys to big money max contracts isn't really the same thing as saying "I won't sign actual NHL players."
