Well see I was thinking of the play Megna was right there when it happened- back in the day - that dude doesn't just skate away - if anything his ass is on the ice and he is looking at the roof.

One play decides that he’ll never be worth his draft slot? He’s a rookie, on a terrible team, there’s no support on defense of offense, he’s timid right now and plays that way getting rid of pucks so he doesn’t get hit. I don’t think he’s very good defensively, hopefully that improves but hes at least two or three years away before his game can be fully assessed.

That may have been the worse group of player on a PP I have seen for the Hawks.

Maybe let the kids develop for a few minutes.

His feet are moving and he's using his speed but a lotta plays are ending on his stick. I do like Guttman on a line with Reichel. Guttman always has his head up, can make some plays and will shoot the thing so beelining to the net might produce a goal as will finding some soft ice to take a feed.

Just keep waiting for the switch to go off for Reichel. Nuttin yet.

Vlasic got 2, 5 & 10 at 5:02 of the 2nd. Guessing he went back to the room rather than sitting in the box for 14:58.

Game has slowed down for Soderblom the last 3ish games. Not nearly the panicky scrambly game we've seen all yr from him....... For sure, he's gonna see some rubber in the 3rd with high flying NJ down a goal. Would be awesome to see him get rewarded with a win in this crazy game.

Gotta say it sure is interesting how the club has rallied around Bedard up and down the lineup. Really nice to see.

No other D-man out there was picked 7th by the Hawks. He never belonged in the NHL in the first place.

I will even grant you the point about passing to anyone. He consistently goes for a big sweep check which is easily deked by NHL players. It puts him off balance and out of position to recover. and on that play he then went and chased the puck leaving the eventual goal scorer all alone. Him vacating his spot and that midget level sweep check are two things he has been doing all season.

Kd needs to admit the mistake and move on from him while he still has value.

Know what, I think he plays faster than he skates. He has a high IQ that allows him to play faster than he is. ..... I think he's a good mate for Reichel. If Reichel can make himself dangerous without the puck Guttman will find him.
