I feel like Krebs is a player that will explode once he’s given the opportunity in the top 9 or top 6 somewhere and Calgary can provide him that.

Along with the fact he’s from there, and Calgary doesn’t want to take back salary or retain on any trade, I think it could make sense.

Then again with the uncertainty around Mitts being here long term, I can see a reality where they keep Krebs and he graduates into the top 9
