Wouldn't the combo of Mittelstadt and Samuelsson cost Calgary at least $11M combined against the cap starting next season?
Also, Coleman is not a Center.
He's a winger.
I have a guess where you got he was a Center from.
If I'm right, that site is wrong. - kingcong39
Casey will be a RFA after this season, his current salary is 2.5 million and Samuelsson is 4.4 million… so roughly 7 million total.
Coleman can play both center and wing from what I have read and watched…

Calgary didn’t want to retain on Zadorov to facilitate a better return.
I’d imagine any trade they make will be for futures with minimal salary going back.
Which works better for the Sabres as they are one of the few times that can take on salary.
Can they go on a run here and set themselves up to by buyers at the deadline ? That is the question.
Barring Tage’s health, I think they can.
If Tage’s injury puts him out for at extended time, we are pretty much franked - Swedish_Jesus
Kudos for typing franked instead of (frank)ed 😆 |

Think beyond this year, as the Calgary GM assuredly will do, and the complexion of the salary impact for Casey changes a lot.
Don't you want your 3rd line Center taking more than 40 faceoffs annually? He hasn't done that since his days in New Jersey.
Don't you also want your 3rd line Center to win faceoffs? He's never been a 50% or better faceoff winner. |

Cool, I thought they were. I’ve been telling people around here to calm down because they’ll be able to see it. LoL, glad I was right in saying that. |

Krebs has his best game of the year last game so he gets demoted again. The coaching is just mind boggling |

Didn't he just stay on LOG?
Nothing kind to say about Greenway at 3C, but I don't see the demotion here. |

Another game where the Sabres have a poop load of perimeter shots or …. When the Sabres have a good opportunity to score. They shoot it right into the goalies stomach.
A bar league goalie would’ve had a shutout vs the Sabres tonight |
