I am OK with that. Here is a question. Most assumed the captaincy would go to Bedard next year (ala Toews). It can be stated that Foligno is the de-facto captain. So, do you give Bedard the captaincy, or Foligno,, especially since he will be with the team for 2 more years.

Until yesterday it had been a long time, if ever really, that I looked up Pinto's stats. Didn't realize the kid hits at about a pt per game at every stop and until you mentioned it didn't realize he scored 20 his rookie season.

So, I went to his Dobber page expecting a high unsustainable shot percentage. Nope, his shot percentage last yr was a very sustainable 12.7%. Also noticed Pinto was 52% at the dot, most common mates were Dcat and Batherson and they had 52 SF% and a 51CF%.

Whole bunch to like here. A legit NHL center with size at 23 yrs old. Something the Hawks do not have in their system. Very good traditional and fancy stats and all sustainable........ I do a Pinto for Reichel.

He doesn't have the same size, but I think Ludwinski is going to be a really good Center for the Hawks.

Not bad. Small raise for a guy who has done exactly what they brought him in to do.

If he wants to stay in Chicago, I think #16 will be next.

His shooting % may regress a bit here, but it wouldn't surprise me if he still maintains above his career average ~10% and can get a couple more 15-18 goal seasons while being responsible defensively.

I would like if they can maintain #16, #43, #11 and #17 as the primary PK guys at F next season. Not saying the PK doesn't need work, we are absolutely the worst in the NHL at making high danger saves on the PK, I think it's more the D and between the pipes. Guys like Kaiser, Crevier, and Zaitsev have struggled on the PK this season. Neither goalie has been that great on the PK, kind of mediocre IMO.

What’s the matter, $4.5M is too much for a fourth liner in his upper 30’s? I won’t beat this one to death until I see what they do this offseason.

Roos is done on this team after this year. They don't care about him at all. He'll either be traded or not resigned.

It is up to Phillips if he has it mentally because physically he has ability to play NHL

Phillips had their heart it would help somewhat but it is all upstairs with Phillips. Someone mentioned maturity regarding Phillips- might be part of his development

Would like to see him make it. He has a lot of natural ability so he could stand out on a third pair. Especially if he takes on a really aggressive physical presence
