I'm still of the mind that the team isn't this bad. Forward group has juice. I don't care that I'll get yelled at for holding this opinion, it's the truth. Need better defenders. Need a 4th line. But there's fixings here for a good plate.

This 100000% this. There were no issues with this coaching last year. It was all get better players and get better goalies. (see Bryson/Stillman/UPl/Levi)

8 players career years. Same coaching.
Maybe just maybe the year they had last year was unsustainable and they severely overachieved.

I’m not saying coaching doesn’t need to change. It probably does.

We have been saying the same damn thing about not finishing checks and being tough to play against since John (frank)ing Scott was signed. 50 billion coaches later.

Honestly, I wonder if Donny's system didn't just get figured out. Once teams saw what a 1-3-1 did against our transition game, we took a nose dive. However, we certainly were a better team last year...can't discount that.

Thanks for bringing up the 1-3-1 as well. The guy has shown he doesn't have an ounce of ability to be able to adjust to ANYTHING.

I gave him the excuse of being a rookie head coach and he can still learn blah blah blah... But by now if he cant figure it out he wont. Hes an assistant at best.

It's why Donny should've been gone, or at least we should've tried to bring in some new assistants immediately. How this has stayed static is beyond me. The fanbase is folding.
