Quinn, JJ, RJ, and Levi are all eligible for early deals this summer. Can't fathom KA would continue his trend of early long term deals. Wait a year, 2/3 year bridges for everyone. Skinner is gone before those are over. I don't think that's a big problem.

Where I do think it's a big problem is making moves. I still assume this is a budget team. Like we just saw, knowing they are going to have to pay guys in a few years greatly limits what they are willing to do leading up to that.

IMO they cant worry about this.

Get your team right, get to the playoffs and worry about the money later.

I think the scare tactics are just getting started...for both sides. Going to be a crazy year, have cash ready to pounce on opportunities.

I'm not seeing it at all. Great Cheerleader for Buffalo and The Sabres. Leader who can put the team on his back, get in players faces to hold everyone accountable, challenge opposition players as necessary though?...not so much in my view.
