Part of his reason for signing for TO was to be closer to fam. He's a Sudbury kid. I think MTL and OTT will be in the running for that reason, but I think we may be able to get a word in.

This team needs several guys who push their collective good vibes that is leading to a bottom 5 finish. Seems weird to me.

Short term contracts, $6+mm, long term would be different, his play style, a good team would offer $4+ for 5 years max maybe?

Our team seems like a fruity bunch (take that as you will) and he does not... could be why hes not meshing great with that Toronto team.

We aren't Toronto but our team make-ups are similar our offensive-first game is similar. How the players act kinda similar(soft) .

The happy go lucky skinners of the team are on my nerve tbh. The smiling, happy nonesence while being without the playoffs fro x amount of years is getting on my nerves.

Would love what Bertuzzi brings just not sure his character would fit here (as of the current makeup)

You mean aside from the 4 Cups won? He played for 2 teams over 17 years and the only reason he did is because the owner didn't want to pay him what he was worth. Then played for one more team from 36 to 38 minus a weird stop in St Louis for 18 games after a trade from the Kings.

Just a tad bit different than Reaves, who once he outlived whatever usefulness he had in St Louis(coincidentally the last season he cracked 100PIM was his last season in STL) has been on 5 different teams in 7 years.

The Sabres still need to infuse toughness in the lineup. Reaves over E Johnson this year…they still would have blown chunks…but maybe a few youngin’s learn how to throw bombs.

Also, they went 8-8 the second time and the defense was 14th in points. Allowing 23+ points a game is hardly world beating.

Edit: They allowed a 41 year old Drew Brees to throw for 20 yards over his average, 0 INT and 2 TD. And they got 0 sacks
