I've heard this a few times now. And it's always been by people who just recently watched it instead of as it came out. It was a huge let down from season 1 when it came out.

The latest episode of the new season took a nosedive for me, and it was going well first few episodes. Hopefully the last couple make up for it.

First season is both as good as and not as good as I remember, idk.

Season 1 is Southern Gothic with a Cosmic Horror twist

Season 2 is straight Neo Noir, and I understand the change in tone would put people off but I love it

Season 3 tried to get into before, will try again

Season 4 seems like Cosmic Horror with supernatural elements.

Episode 4 really stunk. I really hope it doesn’t fizzle out.

The first season swerved from a bigger payoff, I don’t know what happened but it was heading in a clear direction and they pulled back at the last second, they pivoted harder than Pegulaville.

And that wormhole poop at the end was a red herring that it seems like Season 4 is trying to fix

Thinking about it more, I feel like it's The Wire. Most people who watched it as it aired think after season 1 it sucked, but I watched it years later, and it's different, but, especially season 2, I thought it was still excellent

Everyone needs to stop going to the games to protest this crap or it will be the same broken record year after year. Stop buying tickets to see misled players lose. It is that easy. Pegula will have to do something if no one comes to a game. Phuk Pegula, he will always be remembered as the dum rich guy who destroyed Buffalo's professional sports teams. The teams that choke because their owner will never put the right leadership in place to get them the right resources to win it all. Who the F puts their waitress wife in charge of million dollar sports franchises unless they want them to lose. Really, think about it. This bs has gone on for far too long, and if anyone still buys tickets then they need to get their head examined because they must enjoy pain and sorrow.

We're almost to the point where they'll just say they don't want to burn a year on Kulich's deal. I think losing a half-season of experience in a blown season is gross mismanagement.

Just a matter of time for Rousek and Rosen. Bet at least one is up at the deadline + use a recall to get Kulich a few games.
