Depends on the Future, if it's Jiricek or Reinbacher then yes. But it won't be. Probably a off-season move. Doesn't mean he shouldn't be listening. - Buff36
Playoff teams don't generally have those kind of pieces.
Tired of listening.

Not sure I'm following your question or line of thinking above.
What is your question when you're mentioning Guentzel and Mittelstadt together? - kingcong39
The thoughts were separate, not a comparison. I was just wondering what washy thought Mitts' value was. If he's just a 3C that plays a perimeter game and isn't impactful on the powerplay, then I would imagine his value pales in comparison to Lindholm or Monahan. I think he's better than them personally. Was just wondering what we thought his perceived value was. |

The bolded is 100% true...they should change their name to the Jr. Sabres - run the exact same way. - washedup20
Sad but true, I hope Terry gets mad about how it's going and fires this mope. |

A little update on Quinn, they still haven't given the specifics on the injury or surgery, but they have confirmed there was no knee damage.
Might not be surprising given the 8 week timetable, but at least he avoided that. |

Julien Gauthier claim incoming. Jack Quinn's replacement has been waived by the New York Islanders. Murrency abounds. |

I still think best case scenario for Mitts is putting pen to paper on a 4 year deal.
But, at least we know he’s worth a 1st round ++ after what Monahan fetched today |

It should be pretty good value in the sense of his production being strong at 5v5 and his versatility. Add in he is now entering his prime as a late-bloomer rather than a team paying for past performance, the best seems to be on the horizon going forward. Also, he now plays a 200 foot game and battles along the boards pretty effectively.
All in all a strong package...that should be dealt in the off-season to maximize value versus only a few clubs |

>>> @SabresBuzz Our projection for Mittelstadt is reasonable/affordable for the Sabres but it could also make him more attractive to acquiring teams. RFA status also provides value over acquiring a UFA. It would be reasonable to ask for the Lindholm package, possibly more. #LetsGoBuffalo #NHL

Any official confirmations on the Jost recall? It's gotta happen between now and Sunday, right? |

Good, makes him more valuable in terms of expected trade return..
He has become an above average player after a very brutal start due to immaturity issues. He grew up, now it is time to move along in exchange for a very solid player at a position of need.
I'm happy to say that I predicted 5 x $6.25m+/-.
This GM'ing is easy peasy |

Agreed. If you're going to move him, a late 1st as the main piece isn't exciting.

Maybe we could trade mitts to a team that’s in need of some scoring ?
Maybe get a guy with a little less talent , but more grit and size?
Seams like we have a lot of the “same player “ |

Think they need to do something in the offseason to shake things up. Fire Donnie and make a trade sounds good to me. Not expecting it though.
