Could you rank who’s at fault and who should go to turn the franchise around a bit. - Boss34
The first two should be gone. |

Don Granato isn't expecting the Sabres to recall a forward before their game Tuesday vs. Dallas.
They'll have 13 forwards and 7 defensemen with Girgensons and Erik Johnson on track to be cleared as soon as Monday.

if the sabres left town, or folded
pretty sure at least half of the people in WNY could care less
shame how this fan base has been treated over the last decade plus

Adams and Donnie
Would you fire them immediately or wait until the end of the year ?
I’m ready for a change, I think Adams avoids the axe for a while still imo |

Terry is never going to fire his boy. He will fail upward into a presidential role after they (again) do nothing to bolster this roster over the summer and they suck again next year |

I think this place is split down the middle of whether KA or Donnie is the bigger issue atm. Fire both probably wins that poll easily.
Donnie spitting in the face of analytics was the final straw for me. What this organization is doing makes no sense atm. All talk, no action.

Forget who is to blame within the pair.
The reality is Granato is the 7th longest-tenured coach and Adams has been on the job for four years. They both deserve to go because this team s u c k s (still) |

Think it's very fair that KA put his job on the line by sticking with Donnie. In Yacht terms, he also put his job on the line by giving Donnie that early extension. In the end, we'll probably be punished by that coming out of the player budget.

The sad fact is that Adams must be secretly cheering every injury. It will make his post-season presser much easier. |

Exhibit A to the above:
>>> So since the #Sabres last played in San Jose to wrap up a two-game winning streak on the California trip, they've learned about two surgeries: Quinn out 6-8 weeks with one and Samuelsson out for the year with the other.
It's just one of those seasons you file away and forget.

The player budget is (frank)ed regardless, and the arena budget twice as much. Terry has triple E'd this franchise into oblivion. Adams will fail his way into the presidential role and Karmanos will be GM (if he hasn't grown tired of this clown show).
I expect this season will be blamed on injuries, Granto will be retained and then fired next season in December. Matt Ellis will be interim head coach and the efficient train rolls on. Choo choo |

|
Instead of miscasting Samuelsson, they can miscast Erik Johnson.
Sounds great. - kingcong39
EJ on the 3rd pair doesn't hurt you as bad as Samuelsson on the 1st pair and gets him to play RJ more. I think they likely come out ahead here.

Optics are going to demand that you at least bring in someone new to take over the PP, right?

You're assuming they don't keep Ryan Johnson on the 3rd pair with Clifton and pair Erik Johnson with Power.
I would not make that assumption. |

How many people even give a poop anymore?

Shocker...
>>> Mattias Samelsson requires surgery and will miss the remainder of the season due to an upper-body injury.
Wishing you a speedy recovery, Sammy 💙

Is Adams concerned he won’t spend his rehab time in Buffalo? |

I'd bet it's at least double digits, including the players.

forwards Isak Rosen and Jiri Kulich will be unavailable for tonight’s AHL All-Star Skills Competition at Tech CU Arena in San Jose. They are, however, expected to participate in Monday’s All-Star Challenge event. |

Adams gets a promotion lol
Good thoughts
Would a reputable gm want to work for pegula?
Might we have a “want to be here “ issue with management as well? |

Wonder how accurate this one is.

GM Okposo. Should be a joke, but you could also imagine it.
