Still wondering why Ryan Johnson only played 9 min

Thought Tage looked like he was about to Blow. Would think that in that 3rd period Granato would put Tuch up there on Wing with Tage and Skinner. Most would put there supposed Best line back together for a few shifts to see if they could help in a 1 goal game. But I got to watch Okposo fall more than Girgensons while playing 1RW. And falling more than Girgensons is not a easy feet.

Majority of the comments on twitter are praising the Sabres last night....for losing. The Sabres community is broken.

Let's go back to the opening sentence here, of I've seen crazier things happen, and you follow it up with referencing the Panthers from last season.

The Sabres rallying to make the playoffs at this point, with where they are, would be MUCH crazier then the Panthers rallying last season, given the Panthers recent seasons of successfully making the playoffs compared to the Sabres decade plus of suck.

Like that franking means anything. Somebody forgot to tell the Detroit Lions that they weren’t allowed to become relevant this year because of their past decade of suck.

Also, the analytics say this is an average hockey team, and in a league where half the teams make the playoffs, being average puts you in that race.

The only thing the analytics hate is our PP, which actually didn’t look too bad last night. Unfortunate it took nearly 49 games to get to that point.

You pivot more than Granato trying to explain his confidence in the team and what that confidence is based on.

The Lions have a good coach. The Sabres, do not.

If you think a decade plus of suck, or missing the playoffs for their entire Sabres career to date compared to the Panthers having been a President's Trophy winner the prior year doesn't make a difference mentally, then I know you have little clue into the mind of a pro athlete.

Hell, even the mind of an amateur athelete.

There are some good players to be had.
But, it will be viewed as a failure because an 18 yo doesn't break-in, play 23 TOI and post 30 G's....as a Dman no less.

This team just isn’t good. Mediocre would be acceptable but even last year they were awful.

I don’t care about Pegulaville and his moral victories, Sabretooth and his bandwagon, Quinnfan and his blinders, Washedup with his soapbox, Beady with his Suck It….

This team is hot garbage and we can blame the guys behind the bench, in the rafters or down the 90 but the flat truth is these guys suck. A good team puts the lid down when they flush. The Sabres don’t even poop in the toilet.

It’s Buffalo. An entire city full of (frank)ing losers who get mad when people are better. Praising the team and players that lost 4 straight championships - an almost impossible feat.

A city full of fat, drunk, mean bullies who don’t even try to be mediocre - they just act like Buffalo is special, unique, hidden and got a more raw deal than all the other rust belt cities and Tim Murray combined.

A city full of people who stay with their high school sweetheart but somehow write off literally every outsider within moments of meeting them, showing a commitment to inconsistency and complacency.

A city full of the letter D, in the shape of a B, thinking it’s an A, when C would be just fine.

I can got to 1 of the 8 Tim Hortons in my town, but there’s not a single Dunkin’ even though 4 cafes operate just fine in the vicinity… and the makeup of the town’s coffee shops resembles the makeup of the team.

A bunch of Tim Hortons, a few cafes, some Starbucks but a couple of Dunkin’ and a few more Spots would create a coffee diversity that the Sabres sorely need.
