AZ probably has til the end of this season to show the league a plan for a new arena.
They’re going to be the team in Salt Lake if they don’t get an arena plan rolling soon.
I don’t see the Sabres moving after (if) pegs sells them. Any new owner would see a Hockey mad market that would throw buckets full of money at a competitive team, just do it right.
Pegs has turned the Sabres into the old Panthers, while growing nothing but apathy amongst his team’s fan base. |

1. This rumor is denied every single year. Tim Graham is relentless on this rumor and can never find a crack in the Pegula's intentions to keep the team.
2. Galisano built a clause into the seller's contract that the team was not allowed to be moved by the buyer.
3. Bettman loves this franchise.
Sabres are lame (frank)ing dog poop, but so is this "rumor". - TheSabresTaco
Not sure if you know, but I'm curious. Is this legally binding or is there some penalty he can pay to circumvent this? I know sometimes with those clauses there will be a date it expires or a fee to pay to the seller to nullify it. |

We needed you yesterday. Question:
Lundell just slumping due to linemates? Or did he really take a big step back? |

Contracts are indeed legally binding. I'm sure washed has held plenty of them up before in the construction industry. It's the only piece of paper you need to call bullpoop.
So, no. Pegula can't legally move the team.

My second favorite narrative player, Anton Lundell.

Your wife is having an affair. She’s cheating on you.
You’re telling yourself a gym membership and a new car lease to go with that fixed mortgage will win her back, but all it’s going to do is keep her around.
You’re fine with this. You know you’ve lost her, but if you can just get a return on your cbo, you can buy her that new diamond for her wedding band.
This is called being a cuck. Congratulations, you’re a Sabres fan. - Jet Jaguar BD
and yet I got called out because I wont support this poop show anymore.... well guess what I wont and will not until such a time as they give the appearance they are trying to win....because whatever this is.... is NOT THAT... I honestly dont think for one sec they care if they won or not, I mean how can they with the side show this team has and continues to be. |

I’m just hearing it from all angles. Sorry to be that guy but yesterdays source is a doctor friend. I just think the writing is on the wall. And then with the NHL putting out all these press releases about new potential owners and markets. It doesn’t look good. |

They are trying to win. Just like some in certain government positions are trying to govern. Doesn't mean they're good at it, or at the very least, competent.

I chimed in last night.
He’s down points wise (a little snake bitten). Rhino is on Barkov’s line this year, not Lundell’s. Instead of Rhino, he’s had Cousins, so I think definitely that is part of it.
He’s a solid all around player that still is contributing to the team despite the points drop. Also Lundell’s first year was runnin & gunnin with Bruno, now their style is much different under Maurice. |

Terms from a prior sale to not relocate, rolling into a new sales contract is an interesting situation....depends on who has the better lawyers. Big boy money comes with big boy egos.
A hockey person can see the opportunity in Buffalo, a group of investors looking for the strongest ROI, bigger markets are enticing.
Money talks....I wouldn't put anything past Terry regarding the Sabres. |

honestly im getting numb to it.....I'm tired of hearing about it, it's like a gun pointed at the heads of all sabres fans. field a competent team and the fans will support it... Frankly im amazed they get the support they get even now because they shouldn't. they should be loosing money left and right for the crap product they have on ice. its truly is embarrassing, 13 freaking years is just unbelievable. you almost have to actually TRY to suck for it to be this bad for this long.

You are correct on that, but I would imagine Pegula would pick the wrong lawyers like everyone else he hires.
Joking (sort of) aside, without viewing the language, it's impossible to say what's possible for the next buyer.
As a Sabres megafan I guess, my guess, he pushes the same clause. |

This this this. Terry has been a carpet bagger, snake oil salesman since day 1. They ignored all advice along this ride and trashed the organization from top to bottom. It seems they’ve lost interest in their formerly shiny toy. Fans here have been saying it since they bought the Bills.

None of this is true. I can promise you that.
They are absolutely incompetent, and that incompetence is why we are here.
-I'm not sure what you consider a carpet bagger/snake oil salesman, but I'd be interested in why you think Pegula is in this category
-They took a ton of advice from people they shouldn't have. This was extremely well documented, to the point where they trusted no one but Kevyn Adams. Hence, why he's the GM.
-They still have great interest in the Sabres. I can personally assure you of that.
They are incompetent and are much more hesitant to spend money than they used to be. Their own bad decisions, bad hirings/contracts plus lockdowns brought them to this point. Their staff and arena management has been atrocious. These things are objectively true. |

Decisive delegation. I work for maybe 2 hours a day, the rest is just taking calls/meetings and acting as the oil in the engine to keep things moving.
I have projects going on in Austin/Ft Lauderdale and 3 big boy jobs in Manhattan where I act as the owners rep.
It's construction, there are fixed ways of doing things. I'm not building rockets to Mars, it's not hard once you adjust.

Anyone buys the Sabres they’re buying a club that loses 30 million a year. The Bills and the Peg’s deep pockets have been covering the loses. No one that has that kind of money is looking at Buffalo as a viable market. Unless they happen to have even more hubris and delusions of grandeur that they could throw even more money at this mess and do better. I just don’t see it.

Buffalo is absolutely a viable market. The market isn't the problem here.
