I have just locked down the main blog, I have been away dealing with personal poop, came back yesterday (sent York a PM) and just logged on today.

Not sure what has happened in the last month, but the main blog is a poopshow. I appreciate some of you have tried to be measured and tactful when conversing with others, but it is a bit out of hand in there.

My personal poop will be ongoing for the next couple of months but it will not be all consuming like it has which will give me a bit time to monitor from time to time.

The last few were worse but it would have turned out the same once NH starts drinking for the game.

I feel for NYN. There's no enjoyable or reasonable activity there anymore. It got so much worse once VHG begged vantel to come back.

VHG trying to set a nickname for the people who are not hysterical over Petey not living up to his contract. It's not just people who haven't turned on him either. Here's some examples...

If you roll your eyes about Don's claim to know Petey is gay... you are in the society.

If you think they should wait until Hughes is back to join the new players and assess what to do with Petey or not... you are in the society.

If you agree Petey should be moved but think it's better to wait until offseason... you are in the society.

If you don't like Petey and think they should move on from that contract but are none the less sick of the toxicity of the main thread the last week... you are in the society.

It just triggers some to no end if you’re of the “wait and see” mindset. It’s seemingly a black & white issue for those who aren’t along those lines. Truly I don’t care if he’s traded, I like the kid because he’s really talented and he’s a Canuck draft pick, so I’m pulling a little harder for him. Yes he’s soft but I can overlook that, I wish he had more fight in him like grabbing guys in a scrum, but whatever.

Is he earning his salary, no, clearly, but there’s been a lot to deal with. At the end of the day I hope he turns it around but if he doesn’t get a good return for him and we’ll all move on.

Oh…Michkov just got his 2nd of the game.

Not once have I defended his new contract. I stated it last season that I wouldnt if he didnt live up to it. Further more I said I would expect them to move him if they were not getting their money's worth and I would support that. Meanwhile over and over I have the 4 asshats assigning the complete opposite opinion to me(and many others).


If he doesnt turn it around, I expect him gone by summer. I don't expect them not to give the team a chance to stabilize post trades and rush into something that could backfire miserably. Like you are saying, that alone triggers them.
