I think Adam’s and Granato should be clued in on when people get continuously frustrated at their place of employment they leave. Or in this case asked to be moved.
I wouldn’t fault any player for asking out of this place.
I’m sure some of these guys still talk to Reinhart and Eichel. imagine what they are telling them right now. - ImThatGuy
His stubbornness will either be addressed this summer, or it won't. And if Terry wants ticket sales, then it will.

You're good with that? After a 75 point season, with 2 years remaining on his deal, you want to lock him up for another 2?
What harm comes from waiting? - Lunaion
Nope. Maybe I expressed myself wrong. My point was supposed to be that Terry is easily swayed. He believed that signing Hall was going to take us to the finals. He also believed that a small sample size of Donnie was enough to give him an extension. Doesn't matter. They just suck and make us all hate the fact that we're Sabres fans.

Gotcha. I'm with you from that angle.
Story at the time was that he was angry about paying all these people to not work for him. Assumed he'd learn from it and not walk into this.
Was the Nashville stuff about Trenin? Heard he's being dangled.
Is Ek ever actually right? I've only been here for a decade or so, not sure how he did historically before that.
LA, PIT and SJ seem like decent partners for us as well, just haven't heard of us showing any interest. - QuinnFan
From what was said to me and I mentioned a few days ago, a Goalie, Dman and some muscle who can play. It was a one stop shop move. Mitts was mentioned and my Buddy said another piece or 2 from Buffalo a Dman was one but he didn't get anymore specific. I was hoping to hear more, but he's in LA working a Nascar Event over the weekend.

Quinn said Hertl's injury was re-aggravated by the check he took from Buffalo's Henri Jokiharju before the break. #SJSharks

Based on that description, I'd bet Trenin is the muscle, he averages like 3 hits a game. I just don't get where we're going from there. Saros is the only upgrade there, Lankinen would be a #3 and Askarov is basically Levi 2.0. No defenders outside Josi are very promising either...
I'm not sure where a guy with Mitts' value gets us, but should be better than a bottom6 grinder, a goalie prospect and Luke Schenn...

I would hate it, but sounds about right for Adams. Goaltenders start playing well so he will go pay to get another one for a year. - QuinnFan
Saros has the perfect contract to let Levi grow for another year and to see if UPL has really turned the Corner. I doubt it would happen without some extensions anyway. UPL could turn into another Ullmark if Adams isn't careful.

You'd want UPL to 15-20 games as a backup next season?

We can’t tell what we have because the team is coached and constructed so poorly. Adams has backed himself into the corner by refusing to trade any futures, and letting this coach destroy what value those prospects may have had. Anyone care if we trade Savoie for some help now? That should have happened last (frank)ing year. Overvaluation of prospects is killing this franchise.
