Levi and Kulich for Sam is the trade. Still not worth it - lulags
Sam was never resigning here.
Sam may walk as a UFA this year and not even re-up in Florida.
Levi and Kulich are huge pieces of this teams future.
Win/win hockey deal. Florida is going for it now, Buffalo needed to re-coup assets for a player that was out the door |

Juniors is NOT an option this season for him. Lose that train of thought because they simply can't do it - IonSabres
Why can't they?

Potential pieces of our future. I don’t disagree that Sams departure was inevitable. More epic failures by Sabres mismanagement |

Not sure how you can say that with any certainty. If you offered him a long term deal a year earlier, like they should have, he may have signed.
KA's 1 year pandemic deals killed them.

Oppps, read Juniors, thought AHL.
My bad., they can he and you are right.
I still would not send him down. Let him take his medicine this season. |

Under 20 can. But he’s played over 40 games, so this year will count against his ELC |

Yes.
Let's not let Peggy off the hook for bringing in an inexperienced GM and sheding his support group. |

Wonder if he is still there. Hope he began looking for a new job and left them, high and dry. |

No, I know what you were saying. He has already burned a year. The only reason you send him back is if you think his confidence is shot. The team he would go back to already traded Savoie and a few other's. Is that gonna help him. |

10 counted against his ELC. 40 counts towards UFA.
Getting a little late to send him down, but it wouldn't bother me if they felt it was the right move and wanted him to play in the playoffs.

He's not playing bad and he seems to be holding up, but he has 1 point since the 1/1. Don't think it's crazy to at least consider.

Plus, it will drive Boss crazy. - IonSabres
Agree, I don’t hate Krebs, just disappointed with his results vs last season .
Having 9 goals last season (and fighting) had me believing he might be a 10-15 goal keeper this season
Now he looks to be a traded guy or ahl Jody gage |

I like the idea where the Sabres finish the month strong and put themselves in the playoff race and Rasmus Andersson or Noah Hanifin are wearing a Sabres Jersey in March - Swedish_Jesus
Hope you’re right pegs, difficult schedule remaining and a defeated looking team imo |

Ottawa has the 31st ranked pipeline. Not a good thing for a team struggling along in the bottom 5, even though they have s9me young talent on the team.
Wonder if they would value Pics and solid Prospects from a highly rated Pipeline that even makes Washed blush with excitement. Create a package Kevie you wanker.

Could be, it could go either way, but I do agree the runway is certainly getting shorter. So far, at least he has the benefit of developing his 200 foot game...now he needs to put it together. |

I agree, his Juniors team is in 5th or 6th place in there Division so they are holding on to a playoff spot. I just don't know going back to them is good for him, they traded Savoie and another player. But I guess he could get his game back. |

Sabres should give Krebs as much time with skilled players as possible. See what he has moving forward.
Right now zem has more goals then Krebs and that’s pretty cringe |

As well as the Coach having the prop3r in game tactics to get them playing favorable matchups. |

Yes, give them the rest of the season.
Need to see if Krebs can be anything meaningful more then he is, and now is the time to find out, with the season all but already over. - kingcong39
I would see if they can, a couple games just isn't enough. |

A smart center knows it's best to feed his former all star winger vs trying to score on his own |
