I understand the frustration... hell I want ownerships head after 6 years of no Dance...
But there is simply no way the Sabres will ever not be in Buffalo... None. - dozerD10
Never say never on anything. The team is likely being sold. I’ve heard the rumors. It’s no coincidence that the “One Buffalo” business model was dismantled right before the start of the season. And the league have 2 press releases talking about new markets? Yikes. I just don’t know how many more rich people are left out there that view Buffalo as a hot hockey market anymore. From the outside looking in we just lose money and never win. Buffalo is synonymous with its football fans. |

Sure but his employer is losing tens of millions a year due to incompetence. The Sabres are likely to be sold and the nhl is looking to put teams in new markets. We’re at a point where this could really happen and the egoistical, rich owner could easily blame it on “The economic conditions” of Buffalo. If this really goes down will Rob just be happy he had his hand in the cookie jar like everyone else? - Buffalo--Sabres
I don’t understand how the same Terry Pegula who cried while talking about the French Connection at his first press conference has - 13 years later - let this apathetic cancer metastasize to catastrophic levels.

He got lucky hiring McDermott. He's been a mess on everything else.

Went from hero to villain.
Went from fan to skin in the game and now he’s afraid of his own shadow.

They are cooked because they went 2-4 to start this month.
Had they gone 4-2 we’d be singing a much different tune - Swedish_Jesus
Had they won all the games they lost we’d be singing a different tune.
I blame the Buffalo Bills |

More than that though, he is the single-largest stakeholder of this festering abomination and he's doing nothing to change it. And he used to care. (frank)in, sad, man. (frank)in sad. |

I’m sorry but to say the season was cooked in December was premature.
Somebody forgot to tell Edmonton and St.Louis that.
Heck even Minny is making a push now. |

I think rich people are used to having their egos stroked all the time. The people of Buffalo nor anyone in the national hockey league is stroking his ego at this point so he’s lost interest and appears to be distancing himself from the embarrassment. Something none of us could imagine doing because we have actual passion for the Sabres. |

Probably.
When and if Arizona moves, then, maybe, it will be time to sweat. |

If you want to hang on until they are mathematically eliminated, that's fine. There's always a chance until then. They still haven't put together 3 straight this season, so I have no idea where this kind of run is coming from.

If you take out all the losses the Sabres are undefeated. Little known fact |

The run is likely not coming, I have thrown in the towel.
They have played good hockey from January 1st on but have left too many points on the table.
I’ll just never understand the people who react to October and November hockey like there aren’t teams that start slow and make a push.
We see it every year |

Edmonton and St. Louis have better organizations that are willing to fire coaches or have GM’s willing to do more than trade for Eric Robinson as their seasons fall apart.
The FO failed this fan base this summer and this season is the result of it. |

ENOUGH...now the team cannot even beat the worst teams either on the road or at home. Pistol whip these f'ers, fire the coach and all his staff of idiots. GD this is utter BS!!! |

End of December is pretty much the halfway mark. They are 9-8 since, and still haven't put together a run.

Going 7-4 in January was fine. The team being allergic to a couple loser points is annoying but all in all was a good month.
They needed to replicate that this month, and started 2-4.
I don’t have any faith of them winning all 5 remaining games this month. |

If they replicated that pace for rest of the season, it still wasn't enough. It would have put them in position to need to play even better.

Krebs gets bumped up into the top 9 and has 55 xgf% and 85 xgf% in back to back games.
Amazing.
Maybe should have done that the moment Quinn went down again instead of having Okposo skate with Tage and Skinner.
Good work Donnie. |

You’re right. I recall it was 16 of a possible 22 points to be on pace at the beginning of the month.
So they needed to go 7-2-2 or 8-3.
We are sitting here at 2-4 and managed to not gain a single point in games where they hung 48 shots on Jake Oettinger or held a 24-5 shot advantage and a 2-1 lead on the Anaheim Ducks.
Epitome of the season right there |

As a follow-up:
Dahlin-Joker have now played parts of 43 games together and have a 59.3 xGF% as a pair.
Way to keep force feeding the Dahlin-Samuelsson pairing on us you franking twat.

That's a pace better than the best team in the NHL. While it's not impossible, it's just not realistic for this team over an extended period. They aren't that good.

Donnie's lineups and game management suck. Pretty sure we agree on that one!
