They're pretty equal players IMO. And Cozens is younger so there I would give my edge to.

Last 2 years Mitts has 1 more pt in 4 or 5 more games I believe.

if we remove the robinsons, josts, girgens etc and do not bring in any additional overpaid 4th liners, I would be fine bringing okposo back for 1 year

BTW Cozens had more ESP last year than Mitts. I can take a down year if it means the player is learning an growing. which if you've watched Cozens the last month and a half hes brought his game back to last years levels with some added edge.

who the (frank) else was paying over 3 million for whatever the hell he did last year? They certainly wouldn't. And why would they?

I'm sure they wanted to offer him probably around a million to be 6/7 and the pay and opportunity were clearly better elsewhere

Doesn't Lindy deserve a longer leash given his tenure though? The old school guys like him seem to be able to get away with more and I'm not sure it isn't justified.

Granato hasn't proven to be a good NHL coach yet, so he's a much easier target.
