Maybe.
What were the PP% for those years? - IonSabres
We know our PP sucks, but Jesus Christ it's not like these guys aren't getting mega chances 5vs5. A lot of players not cashing there chances. |

They have the 25th PP and 26th xGF/60 on the PP. They aren't good at generating quality chances.
December was a blackhole month. Since then, it's been about 1 goal below average. Not hurting them much.

Right. I just don’t get the constant imploring for him to get a ton of opportunities.
Last 4 games he’s been on the ice for two goals for. Sweet. No points, a couple nice plays. Nothing special - sbroads24
I think the idea is two fold
He becomes more useful in the way that he provides offensive opportunity and weighs the ice in his favor
And
You're able to more accurately plot his development curve
I'm not really a Krebs guy anymore, but if he's got good chance-for numbers, just means when he's out there, he's at the very least preventing better chance against. So, in that sense, useful.
End of the day, he needs to provide box score too. |

Assuming the Mitts rumors come to fruition, your top 9 for the bulk of the season is back (Tage, Skinner, Tuch, Cozens, JJ, Quinn, Mitts, Greenway, Benson). Where do Krebs, Rosen, Kulich, Savoie, and Ostlund fit? Feels like this audition results in moving Mitts or Krebs this offseason.

I’d like to see this
First line Tuch/Cosens/Tage on wing
Second line JJ/Mittelstadt/Benson
Third line Skinner/Krebs/Greenway
Larry’s
First Unit
Dahlin, Tage, Tuch, Cozens, Greenway
Second
Skinner, Mitts, JJ, Benson, Joker |

Not on a losing team unfortunately. Scorers still aren’t scoring. I road win is a road win but if you told me before toe season that UPL would be a top goalie and are PK would be pretty good, I would have thought we’d be solidly in the playoffs.
Btw, Krebs played a ton tonight it seemed and on the PP. wonder if they’re showcasing him for a trade? - turbo044
We wont be a losing team if he keeps it up. He leads in almost every goalie statistic since Jan 1st.

I don’t see Benson in top 6 next year. We will have new players to fill out the top 6 |

Krebs either replaces Greenway on the 3rd line, or is on the 4th line.
Rosen, Kulich, Savoie and Ostlund are all in Rochester.

Turning first rounders into Van Wilder. That's not a plan.

If they are constantly worrying about making room for prospects, are they a real team?
Feels like that approach is how you spin your wheels as an organization for years. |

1st rounders get opportunities on real teams. League is built around that.

Sabres are overloaded with 1st rounders.
They're supposed to move out prior 1st rounders to make room for the new 1st rounders? |
