Will miss tonight’s game, but hope they boo his arse once again. Chelios has no business going up to the rafters. The only guy that played less than ten years for the Hawks and deserves to be up there is Hossa, the ultimate pro.

Damn. I think Seabs ate one of his kids.

And a few more are coming, 19, 88, 2 and 98. If this keeps up they’ll be introducing 3 digit sweater numbers.
- paulr

Isn't canonizing 98 waaaaaaay too premature ?? No one knows how this kids career develops. Too many variables, especially at such a young age. Very talented? Obviously. But lets see where he's at in 5-7 years. Frankly, all the Bedard hoopla since his draft day has been more than a bit much.

Just saying that I agree with throwing the Avs a late second and cap space for Callum Ritchie and whatever current Blackhawk they want...

I find it humourous and somewhat shocking that anyone believes that Stan or anyone else under McD had any say in the cover up.

You could make the argument that they all should of quit their jobs and said something, or course that's very easy to do 10 years after the fact.

I heard that Stan and Q have been banned and would have to go in front of Bettman to get reinstated, I've never heard the same about McD, wonder why???

I get he wouldn't come back anywhere, but did anyone ever hear about his bans or just Q and Stan, cause I don't remember it.

Next to the event itself, this is the biggest travesty of the whole thing that he got away scott free.

- vabeachbear

I think that Stan and Q took some blame for not reporting this in a timely fashion or at all…maybe much time after the incidents they may have been asked or voluntarily said something to Rocky. No this was assuredly all on McDonough and he told everyone that he would handle it. Who knows if he advised them to keep quite less there be repercussion . McDonough may have thought that he was protecting the owner and the franchise from punishment and may even detested both Beach and or his abuser. Whatever McDonough felt he handled it wrongful. He likely clammed up insofar to not bring any further ridicule embarrassment and guilt upon Rocky - not to mention egg on his face

Bowman I feel just went along with the authoritarian rule of McDonough. Because Bowman and Q were in a position to have been able to say something - they are held responsible to some extent. But it was surely McDonough counsel to them and probably to Rocky at some point….which Rocky choose to follow. Beach was a dumb young kid and had a lot of guts to speak out years later. But he probably was driven to open up publicly by his desire to get money out of it - he had not barely successful professional career financially playing all the years overseas.

I was being ironical.

But I do agree the praise for Bedard has been over the top, but he’s proving he’s deserving of it.

Cheez, couldn't they purchase a suit jacket for the youngest son that fit?

Did he show up w/o one, and they loaned one?

Remembering P Kane first coach was Dennis Savard

Then Q came along the team took a few years then exploded to win three Cups with Kane a key member of the core

P Kane will always be thought of as a Blackhawk no matter he had to finish his career elsewhere. I hope it works out however that he ends his career one last season adorning the Blackhawk uniform

Is the answer who doesn’t belong in the NHL?

I guess Tinordi is an ok 7th Dman. Megna I have no clue.

The correct is both don't belong in the NHL. I rather watch Phillips and Crevier. At least we have the illusion they could get better.

You are an *sshole to call names and not willingly find different words to relay your opinion. If you aren’t banned you should be. If I met you at a game I would knock you down. No class just a looser that is you you piece if crap

Kane tribute was meh. Lots of his best goals left out. No game winner in OT against the kings in WCF.

Remember that game so well. Back in my party days. Popped some good stuff before OT went to Justin’s on Southport after. Wild night.

I know I am running behind the rest of you, but I noticed missing form h9s tangles, was the fight with "father" Tkachuk where he ragged dolled Chelly.

On the radio broadcast tonight Wideman said “ten of eleven forwards on Detroit have ten or more goals this season. Christian Fischer only one with less - just a couple but he plays a big role on team”

Spring more or less a fourth lin player has 16 goals

That is an impressive stat Wideman offered up

LATE ADD I bet that Dallas has a comparable amount of scorers with ten or more. NYR maybe?

Yeah, sure. Show a clip of Chelios getting his ass kicked. Wonder why they didn't show that one.
