Mrazek gives up some weird goals.

Technically ... what the hell did either Savard, or Tony O ever win? Fair's fair - in the sense that if you apply that standard to 1 guy - you better apply it to all of them.

Chelly, JR, and Eddie - that was some pretty good hockey - blows the doors off of the last few seasons and it isn't even close. I get it - Chelly wasn't particularly interested in being on a team of coalescing spare parts (not unlike Duncs- although Duncs did leave it a bit later -and didn't go to a team with a rivalry legacy). It happens...

Megna was the between period guest on radio. Born in Florida he grew up on North side of Chicago and is a big Chicago sports fan. He was spotted wearing a White Sox cap on a recent road trip. Man lot of loosing going on with Blackhawks and White Sox but at least I can see light at end of tunnel with Blackhawks rebuild

As far as future success, I would hedge more success comes first to Cubs and Bears. Cubs need an ace pitcher and another big bat. Bears need a rookie QB to emerge to really start to move into playoffs plus their D-line needs better pass rushing. The Blackhawks have a good start with Bedard and I trust KD will build a winner. White Sox are dreadful and farm system is weak. I am not a basketball fan but obviously teams with difference makers who add pieces to mesh, go farthest in playoffs. Ills have talented top players but they aren’t good enough to lead them hopefully even above .500

To conclude I see good things ahead for Blackhawks, Bears, Cubs which is three of the major sports teams in town

A leading question currently is, who gets traded first: D Cease or J Fields. Fields has said he would like to keep playing on the Bears field while it does appear inevitable Cease will cease to remain with the Pale Hose

Gorilla off their back

Even the least offensive capable players snag a goal eventually

Even still. The guy is falling and beats Mrazek cause he was off his angle. Seth Jones also had a nice view.

So we see Crevier in Phillips out
Rotation continues when Murphy returns
Whenever that is
I would guess: no. One or both sent down

But listening to Icehogs last night, their top four is pretty good: Kaiser, DelMastro, Allen and yes Roos

I don’t know Roos emerges again at least not in Chicago but he makes plays look easy. He is a good puck mover and can handle pp real well. Good skater, big size guy at 6-4” Doesn’t get a lot of points but appears pretty solid at least in AHL. Still young. No idea if he would make it later with another team

LATE ADD Roos sounds a lot like the Edmonton Oilers former #1 Broberg. He apparently has no future in Edm and rumored Edm wants to trade him at trade deadline. I checked on him: ten assists in 10 gp in AHL now out 2-3 weeks with painful leg bruise

Bedard’s skating is something. His edges and how quick his feet are.

That move he made. Too bad he whiffed trying to lift the backhand

Well so now OT. Two other games now in IT tonight. We still can have last change who on ice in OT? We started game with Blackwell line against the Larkin Kane line

Best vs best to start OT most likely

Kane had the moniker or nickname or whatever you want to call it, as The Show while a Blackhawk

Bedard blew a breakaway late in the game

He played well but in the end Kane was show stopper with the winning goal

And now Kane has 28 pts in 27 gp. Great comeback Kane from injury and he topped off his assist with the game winner The cherry atop the whip cream on your sundae or milkshake

You just knew it would be Kane or Bedard in OT, of course no one told Seth Jones, he thought he was supposed to justify his contract in OT tonight........

Now he picks his time

Not only the shot but twice he just continued forward leaving the ice wide open. Only kurashev having an angle saved his ass the 1st time

Agreed. This team is so impotent. It's not when they will be a playoff team in the future, it's when will they be a .500 team again in the future !

You rarely see three NHL players dumb enough to crash the net at the same time in OT.

I believe that is the best game I've seen Crevier play tonight. Really like him using his size and driving guys into the boards, really nice game by the kid, more please

Yo Bedard, that's 2 of your guys in the paint trying to knock one home. That means you're the only guy in the building that can at least get back and be a pylon for a Wing on his way to Mrazak... Maybe it might be a good idea to check in on that guy from the other team, Kaner, ready to fly the zone at the blueline with you standing 20 ft from the net and your two mates in the crease.

That means nuttin between Kaner and Mrazak. He was 1:30 into his shift in OVERTIME so I could understand he had zero in the tank to you know, help, PREVENT a goal.

Vlasic and Korchinski with very solid outings tonight

Kids looked great, forwards did a great job of getting back playing defense.

It’s gimmick 3 on 3. Not that big a deal.
