Nothing wrong with that Boss, it's fun when they win. It's just a shame they didn't recognize this 4 months ago.
And is it good to keep some of Management. So be it doesn't fix things. - Buff36
Good post and I agree
It is tough to win with young guys like power and benson though
Hopefully we fire Donnie, can’t really fire all the players |

UPL has been a great surprise this year for sure. If this really is what he is its great, and if levi can replicate his play in rochester in Buffalo next year we will have a top goalie tandem in the league
Hopefully it isn't wasted like all the career years were last year - ieetbred
Absolutely agree 👍
Part of the 3 goalie rotation , was upl’s injury back ground. I’m still worried about his durability.
Levi looks great in Rochester
Maybe add a tough hard nosed player up front and a guy that actually plays defense well

10 points back of Tampa and Detroit.
2 games on hand on Tampa and 1 head to head meeting left.
0 games on hand on Detroit but 3 head to head meetings left.
Fat lady hasn’t sung yet, but she’s walked on stage and is holding the mic.
There is still a chance though |

I’m not sure if it’s “guts”
He has a slow plan and is sticking to it.
Looking at this roster, management is slow rolling it.
Hard to win with power and samuelsson in your top 3 imo - Boss34
You make it sounds like the defense is killing them. It's not. The offense (specifically the top line) is killing them.
I'd still like to know what the plan is. Their top 10 F's might return and 4 1st rounders are ready or very close, with no open top 9 spots. It seems very poorly timed and planned.

Tanev on an extension is what the GM ordered allegedly
Did tanev say no to the sabres or did the GM say not without an extension?
There are plenty of players without movement clauses how come we don't hear about those failed acquisitions. Besides the chicken man of course

Only seems fair to mention that every team between them has games in hand.

Man you owed all of us a detailed prospect report a month ago lol
Good thing is you can only move these particular goalposts for another month |

The top line is definitely killing them.
The defense is still in need of a defensive defenseman. A 27 year old Eric Johnson type , that actually blocks shots and plays d.
Basically, what we thought samuelsson would become |

They are in position to make a major hockey trade for a win now player
Whether its a deadline deal or in the offseason it has to be coming

KA's solution was Clifton.
Fair chance we get a Joker extension this summer and no change.
Are you good with that?

And then you’ll get your prospect report.
Since I started my prospect report they then won 7 of their last 10.

Yeah, always like joker . I’d extend him reasonably
Buddy says he’s the trade bait going to Calgary though |

If you want to improve your D, he's logically the guy that needs to move.
When this falls through, and he just extends him, is anyone going to be surprised?
KA never lands the guy he's in on. He's the Ek of GM's.

I want them to win games too
Doesn't change the fact you have still not honored the deal you offered and it won't change their spot in the standings if you do

Slow roller or incapable
I want him to prove me and many others wrong. There is nothing to roll slowly here hes rolling himself further into a corner |

If they don’t win one of the lottos for the top 3 pick, they are trading it.
If they don’t trade it, my prediction is another smaller WHL forward in Berkly Catton falls into their lap and they draft him igniting a civil war amongst the fan base despite him being the BPA available at their pick.
If they win one of the lottos. Celebrini, Demidov, Levshunov/Richardinson are my targets.

So your prediction is they trade the pick or use it?
Gutsy call |

Gutsy call - sabresfan69
They should not be using the pick if it isn’t in the top 3.
That’s my answer.
As a hedge to our GM being the king of conversations, I supplied a name.
Happy ? |

Answer is both.
Last year there was no urgency and it was a see what they have year.
This year they acknowledged they needed to make external adds and swung and missed on Kane and others. |

If KA is actually following his own 4/5 year plan, I’m not faulting him for being incapable.
He has made a couple big trades and probably learned from them. Hopefully anyways |

He landed Alex tuch at least
Greenway is probably his best trade though lol |
