I think stripes brought up a good point about the young age of the defensive core.

It’s kinda the opposite of what works in the nhl.

I liked mitts, wish him well . It’s a great landing spot for him in Colorado.

What a horrible trade.

Adams traded his biggest trade chip (and leading scorer) for an oft injured 22 year old still developing LEFT handed d-men. Not to mention the type of D-man he is, is NOT what this team needs.

How many of the same type of forwards and d-men can one team have?

Once Erik Johnson is traded off the blue line the Sabres blue line average age is 23.7 years old...you know the position that often takes the longest to develop.

This makes sense if those players started in the league at 22 rather than 18 and 19 for most of them on the roster.
