I am on board with releasing a forward into the wild. So far, no one has proven that they are untouchable and this was a hockey trade.

We got a young, Stanley Cup winning defenseman who can play. CM, may or may not be better. BB may or may not progress and never have another concussion.

if your top 4 wingers are going to be skinner, tuch, peterka and quinn

and your playing tage and cozens as your top 2 centers


there is no path for casey long term

if the kid works out on D, Adams gets to watch this team make the playoffs

if the kid fails, Adams is probably out of a job


this is the type of move you make though when all your prospects are forwards
