They were willing to healthy scratch him this year and he has no term. He seems like the obvious guy to move. Imagine there'd be a decent market, but you never know.

Moving him this week doesn't seem completely out of the question.

Yes. Even if you could move Clifton, extending Joker to play 3rd pair is going to be expensive.

They'll likely never do this, but getting Clifton off the team should not be an issue.

To be clear, I'd be fine with a complete makeover from both Jokiharju and Clifton, but Clifton at $3M+ on the 3rd pair isn't cheap either, and his buyout costs virtually nothing.
