I would like to get Vladar out of Calgary honestly.
I would do Joker/UPL/Krebs for Vladar/Kadri ($1m retained).

That's a big ask from a GM who bathes in the sweat of his players.
My sauce says Adams doesn't make calls, he spends ~ 90% of his time wringing out the players gitch's to fill his tub he installed in his office.
That's why Erik Johnson and Adams fought, Johnson was very uncomfortable when he learned this and suggested to Dahlin to buy a sauna and contain his sweat.

Why Vladar? Why Kadri at 34? Why? - TC4145
Because Kadri will be a perfect 3c for the next few years, with a Cup and playoff experience. He’s Marchand-lite.
Vladar has been behind Markstrom and I think he is what we thought Comrie would be.
We need to trade Joker, Krebs is a nobody and no one likes UPL. We still have Levi and at worst, a good backup in Vladar. If Calgary is willing to retain half on Kadri, they can have a pick, too.
Edit: Kadri had a NMC now but a Limited-NTC in 2 years iirc

Why would we get rid of the guy that has just proved to be a #1. And replace him with Levi who should play another full year in the AHL, and a frankin backup.

An aside: Levi is ready, doesn't need another year. Having a .925 on a team that hemorrhages high danger chances like Rochester is quite the feat and shows he's ready to move up.

UPL doesn't sweat enough, Vladar sweats buckets just sitting in his stall, Kadri wears a full onesie under his equipment...that's a lot of sweat just waiting to be wrung out. Adams could upgrade from a tub to pool which allows him to swim laps while he's in there. I could see Adams pulling the trigger on this.

I'd just say it isn't rushing at all tbh.
And agreed, Comrie did have a good stint there. I think it's part of the reason we didn't actually get a backup at the TDL. I think I'm taking into account that Levi has been better in the NHL overall, where Comrie has really struggled all along here. Levi, like UPL last year, is just inconsistent due to his youth.

Pressure matters a lot. That's why, as a backup, I'd hope Levi could do considerably better today if given the chance. Goalies can make bigger strides in the offseason, so personally I'd just make sure he's putting in the work and tell him to get ready for a full time battle next year.

I have seen him play a lot for Rochester, got the AHL TV Package and he's been really good some Nights and bad some Nights. Probably depends on how he finishes, would like to see him play in the playoffs for Rochester and see how he handles it. If I had to make the decision this weak I would probably go out and get a backup and leave him down for atleast half the Year.
