Over relying on a 4th line was hurt them for a long time. Rebuilding LOG would be a mistake.

I think Tage/Tuch need a fetcher. Girgs is never going to wow anyone with his talent. However, a great puck retrieval guy seems to be the missing link in that chain. It makes me wonder what they'd be able to accomplish with a guy who can both retrieve the puck and actually distribute it.

That isn't a knock against Girgs either, he's played his best hockey in years since the TDL.

Donnie's just adapting to life without LOG. Needs his top 9 to not get run over defensively. Benson, Greenway, Girgs balance it today. Quinn, Benson, Greenway next year.
