Nifty pass he made to York there - MBFlyerfan
This is what Frost was made for IMO, driving the PP, 3 on 3, 4 on 4 .. when their is open ice he needs to be on it. |

Flyers are playing much better tonight but they've gotten a lot of good fortune also. This game is too wide open for my liking. Entertaining though |

I know everyone is all worked up about Torts benching Couturier, but is anyone really missing him tonight? |

It's an 8 year contract. Give him time. - MJL
Jfc. Seriously? How much time? Wait until year 8 and he has some miracle decent season and then go. “Oh see there’s what we signed him for?”
He’s cooked. Not hard to see. A minuscule role player now. Worthy of a year or 2 deal for maybe 2 mil per. |

Is it just me or did it sound like Lou Nolan say David Frost?
I replayed it and it sure didn't sound like he said Morgan.... |

Frost, York and Tippett have been the best players by far. |

Frost shot the puck from the high slot that went top shelf ... but other than that, you're right, it nothing to do with his shot. |

Agree with what? That a coach’s methods eventually fall on deaf ears and Torts like every other coach in the history of the league has a shelf life….that’s some ground breaking observation there. - landros 2
True…. But some are completely buying into this farce team. And everything they say. Just sheep |

The difference is with some coaches and the really good ones is that a team will have some real success before he runs his course with his team. That's not going to happen with Tortorella. That is the point that in the time until that happens. The Flyers aren't going anywhere. - MJL
But they are building a culture? What that culture is or does or even means only they know |

Exactly…it was a high IQ play to throw a placed shot through multiple screens, waited for the right movement to release it. That shot was probably 70MPH |

It was always going to be a tough year for him….2 years is a long time to miss. I’m not confident and I’m not ready to write him off. Let’s see how he reacts going forward. It’s not like he’s been brutal all year. |

Absolutely, he really is mentally tough. Usually does not have consecutive bad games. His rookie year has gone very well.

LOL. You expect a player to have a major surgery, miss almost two full seasons and come right back to 100% right away? Remember when Giroux had his surgery? It took him a full year of struggling before he got back. They said the same thing about hi, That he's cooked. Couturier played solidly in the first half of the season. The coach overplayed him and he got banged up. You haven't been the best judge of Couturier as a player.

My point all along is that Frost has a sneaky good shot and he needs to look to shoot more than he does. That goal was a great example. I like Frost shooting the puck. |

It was just trying to get a puck on net. The only reason it went in was that the goalie was screened and had no vision. It's not a case where Frost beat the goalie with clear sight lines. For someone who likes to tell people that they never played the game. How do you not realize that?
