Playoff hockey tonight...

6pm Central - EDM @ TOR
7pm Central - FLA @ NYR
9:30pm Central - TBL @ LAK
9:30pm Central - CHI @ SJS

I think Kucherov will win the scoring title
With about 5-6 games remaining Kucherov has 125 pts, McKinnon 119 and a distant third if McDavid with 112 pts

If Luke is smart he will start Soderblom again. Closest to a guaranteed loss as you can get

If LR is smart he’ll start Mrazek, if KD is serious about this tank, he’ll tell LR to start Soderblom.

Vegas on the outside looking in for the 2nd West wild card at this time. It would be something if they miss the playoffs after doing their LTIR gymnastics and the addition of Mantha, Hanafin and Hertl at the TDL.

BIG10 championship tonight at 7pm Central - Michigan @ Michigan State. Michigan ranked 10th last week, so win or loss they will be in the NCAA tourney beginning next week. Their season will last until next weekend at least. Will Nazar turn pro or spend one more year at Michigan? I say he stays.

Greene with 2 goals for Boston U last night. With Celebrini, they are #2 in the country and play BC, #1, tonight for their conference championship.

Oh please Hockey Gods, figure out a way to keep LVG outa the playoffs!!!....... Perfect timing for Hawk fans as they can watch Nazar at 7:30 then Hawks at 9:00.

And yea, from what I've seen would like to see Nazar spend another yr in MI.

Quite possible, but I think it’s more likely that KD picks a goal scorer (Eiserman or Demidov) or a RHD (Levshunov).

With Tampa’s pick, the KD takes a d-man with the Hawks pick I’d like the team to select Hage. If they pick a forward with their pick I could see KD targeting a d-man.

I wonder how far Eiserman will fall. Although extremely unlikely, wouldn’t it be amazing if he fell to the Hawks at Tampa’s pick!

I just keep thinking about KD trying to move up last yr for Moore. It does show us he's open to doing so but maybe also shows even if it's a kid, NHL player(?), he covets he ain't overpaying.

But, if an Eiserman falls to 10ish and with all the draft picks (assets) he has stockpiled I'm ok with overpaying for a guy you have #4-5 on your board and he's there at 10ish.

And Dubas might be a kinda wild card. Does he realize he needs to put some talent (draft picks) in the system or does he think he can do a Philly-NSH rebuild/retool?.... If he's drafting around #10 a very good chance a faller will be there,

How would coming outa the draft with any two of Lindstrom, Levshunov, Richardenson, Parekh look?....... Just saying there might be a chance a kid an organIzation has ranked #5 and is still there at #10-11.

Kaner, what is it you like about Hage?........ I can tell you there was a lotta buzz inside the Steel when the Canadian kid decided to go the USHL-NCAA route. And CHI is used to buzz with Fantilli and Celibrini coming thru.. Then he got hurt and missed a bunch of games as a 17 yr old and now on a .500 club he's producing, tied with Connelly for 3rd in the league in scoring.

He has some back class too as he was drafted 9th overall in the OHL draft by Kitchner. https://www.eliteprospect...layer/597678/michael-hage

I stopped by the local arena to watch a neighbor’s 14 year old kid’s “AAA” team play a team from Trois Rivieres Quebec. There was a 12 year old with the name Gagnon on the shirt on the TR team who completely dominated the game. This kid could absolutely fly. And his hockey skills and smarts were above all the other players out there. But there was one play that made my jaw drop to the floor. He’s a left shot coming down the left side along the boards. As soon as the defender’s feet turned to the boards to cut him off, this kid changed hand on his stick, cut hard to his right went in on net changed hands again and scored. How he changed hands was so quick and seemless. I’ve never seen a move like it. Anyway the kid scored four of his team’s goals. Maybe KD can try stockpiling 2030 first round draft picks.
