You STFU.
Who cares? You want fighting? Go watch a Nordiques/Canadiens brawl from the 80s.
They played hard tonight. Couldn't cash in their chances and you're mad because they didn't drop the gloves in the last 55 seconds!? The Leaf fans are the ones who should be mad after THEIR pansies didn't drop the gloves after Quinn boarded THEIR player. - Powerslave
In that situation? Yes, absolutely. Show some fücking life. Take a suspension if you have to for instigating in the final five minutes, it's not like it's going to hurt the team or anything.
Dahlin was the one who boarded the Leafs player, Quinn served the penalty because Dahlin was sent to the room along with everyone else on the ice |

Garnet Hathaway totally destroyed Dylan Cozens year when he pounded him back in November. (He has never been the same)
If they don't fire this coaching staff, on top of going after season ticket holders who sell their tickets. Then add on players complaining about the fans. Who is going to renew? This organization is in deep trouble.
But hey!!! We are getting a new scoreboard and roof. |

Zach Benson received Quinn’s roster spot.
Quinn getting injured a second time was extremely unfortunate. Nobody this year has missed Quinn more than Dylan Cozens.
I completely agree though that they completely whiffed on the bottom of the depth chart.
They felt they had Patty Kane in the bag and he said no. - Swedish_Jesus
Kane used the Sabres in a similar fashion to how Babcock used them. |

Does it really matter? I mean, these responses that they didn't go around sucker-punching everyone when we lose are pathetic. What if they had won? Should they still have all dropped the gloves? |

And posters like you are why most don't come around here much anymore. Typical internet moron. - Powerslave
I come here for entertainment purposes only. Usually at this point in the season you hope to see a glimmer of pride. That left years ago with this poop show. This team is gutless and has absolutely no sac. So ya- I’m disgusted with seeing no pushback or initiative from the Sabres because they mailed it in months ago. I think the loser mentality is affecting your rationale. That’s why I don’t hang here much. Have fun tomorrow

Every other front office in the league also knows the Sabres are going to need to make moves.
On Adams, he says he tries a lot of things.
The actual results of his attempts however, paint a very real story of his competency. - kingcong39
It took him 2 years to get Bryam …. |

It’s 13 years of frustration.
I understand why this fanbase is the way it is.
The Sabres aren’t as far off as some make it seem, but at the end of the day those who have the power to change it have to change it.
It comes with the territory |

I would’ve taken a team that showed they cared.
Even if they lost 100-0.
If the effort was there. I would’ve been happy |

The Sabres don't even have someone as tough as Jake McCabe on this team. Good lord, Adams is such a joke. |

Punching people with 54 seconds left when they're down 3-0 shows me NOTHING. Show me in the middle of the 2nd, when there's time left to make a difference. My point was, they played hard tonight, they didn't quit, they kept coming, couldn't solve the goalie, but also missed the net a LOT. And their power(less) play is killing them (and has been all year).
They frustrate me some nights, too. And disgust me on other nights. Tonight I was frustrated.
Hopefully they make the right changes this summer, both on and off the ice.

Our $7M Center can’t score to save his life right now and our $9M winger is absolutely cooked.
As much as it would have been nice for every Sabre on the ice to beat the Leafs to a pulp in that final minute, it wouldn’t have changed the result on the scoreboard or fixed our PP

I wouldn't care one bit if they somehow managed to unload him. |

I agree that it's largely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things but Dahlin is out there embarrassing himself trying to be a fake tough guy. It's just an overall embarrassment of a roster. |

And yes, Dylan Cozens was supposed to be something resembling sandpaper for this lineup but he got his face beat in earlier this year and never recovered. So idk what he is going forward. He seems pretty broken atm |

Dylan will be fine. Everything that could possibly go wrong for him this year has gone wrong.
He will bounce back, unfortunately his struggles this year though has costed us dearly.
I’m not concerned about him though

Who said anything about sucker punching? Bertuzzi and Giordano did what they did because they knew the Sabres are püssies and wouldn't drop the gloves. In that situation when they mug you, you drop the gloves and go.
That's far different than being down 6 goals and trying to hurt someone because you're losing |

He just ate like 5 shots from Bertuzzi and didn't do a damn thing, then Bertuzzi came back for more and almost knocked him on his ass. Have some backbone, man |

What does that mean to you? Is he ever going to be a 68 point center again or was that just a flash in the pan? |

I have faith he'll hit 30 goals or close to it again. The 14.7% he shot last year isn't like Reinhart shooting 25.4% this year where there's no way he can reproduce that. |

That's where you and I differ. They responded fine. Dahlin has fought. Tuch has fought. Jordan Greenway fought Tom Wilson back in November. But they're not "fighters". Where was Matthews? He was on the ice. It was HIS player that got boarded.
The Sabres have far bigger problems and that's what I'm concerned about. I'm not concerned that our offensive players didn't drop the gloves.
And Bertuzzi's an idiot and always has been. |

I saw a player who has consistently got better each year he was in the league who has roughly 8 goals scored below expected this year.
The underlyings this year aren’t pretty and it’s been a step back for him, but I’m not panicking about a 23 year old going through a rough stretch |
