Where is Paul Harvey with
The rest of the story.
That seems like an absurdly low return especially with wiping out their Cap for 2024.

I heard on WGR this morning that last week Josh was on an out of town radio station and spent a lot of time reviewing the WR draft class on air... I guess pretty in-depth.

Maybe Brandon drafts 2? Lol.

Bills going to take a step back in 2024.

Heard they have been talking with the Rams about 19

Still will eat 31mill, doesn't matter when they designate. Yeah I am surprised, but guess they had enough

The value of the player was declining and they were on the hook for some amount of money for four more years. Best way to cut bait is to bring in a rookie 1st round receiver making a low amount of money. You need immediate impact.

Beane and his staff are salary cap magicians.

No one here should be worried about the cap hit.

The only question I have is:

Which WR are we trading up for?

Marvin Harrison Jr - doubt it
Naber - boarder line / doubt it
Odunze - I think this is the target and most trade up realistic.

Josh Allen was at a flag football type camp with Kyle Allen and Palmer his QB coach. It’s on YouTube

Josh Allen knew the names, combine results, and so on. He knows who is who.

He also said that he loved Curtis Samuel for awhile.

Didn't you say there was nothing to see here last season with Diggs' attitude?

I really don't want them to trade up unless it's for Harrison Jr., Nabers or trade for JJ. If receiver class is as good as it is being touted, stay put and see who falls to you. Personally, I would prefer trading our pick to Commanders for both of their 2nds over trading up.

If Beane trades for JJ, just wow. Minny could get their 2nd round pick back.

What's his contract status? Can they make that work?

Isn't it premature to say this team is incapable of winning based on two seasons of coming within a few points of making the playoffs?

Most of the core either weren't here or were very new to the league 3 years ago. IMO, we can't put the weight of 13 years of losing on their shoulders, outside I guess Girgs who doesn't play enough to warrant that type of guilt.

- QuinnFan

No. They have lost, and gotten worse, that is the reality of the situation. The hope/maybe/potential with the group remained the same, the years have changed though.

isn't he still on rookie deal looking for huge pay day on next contract? If big cap hit wouldn't come into play until next year, i guess that could work.

Absolutely, his act wore thin over the last 18 months. Interesting to see how they move forward.

I was talking about this before the trade. I've been going to Houston once a month for work for a while now.

Stephan A Smith said that Diggs made Josh Allen what he is today, why am I not shocked hearing that from him. I guess Stephan A didn't watch last year.

Everything's bigger in Texas 19. Would say this pretty much assured it will be a night game.

I’m good with Odunze and the most realistic trade up without going full madden trade

And I never thought with 31 mill in dead cap beane would do it.

He's right, though. Josh Allen didn't take that "step" until Diggs got there. Allen may not need him anymore, but pre-2024, Allen doesn't become who he is now without him.

Diggs will likely flourish in Houston. He's not even going to be the #1 target down there. He won't draw the coverage he did here.

That game had Monday Night written all over it before the trade. Maybe it's a Sunday Night game now.

Looked to me they where weeding Diggs out after week 10, maybe they were seeing if they could survive without him last year. Shakir opened some Eyes

Shakir's not a #1 receiver, not even close. If he's the guy teams key on, the Bills are in trouble.
