The best part is that Gerbe is really gone because there is no way that wage would avoid this satanic trolling on here without giving us the “youth perspective” on this. Unless he’s trying or hide the fact that he has gone to chalk circle orgies on Pegula’s yacht. - Da_Cashman
Gerbe is only a couple years younger than I am.
You did just get the youth perspective.
I should dip like Gerbe did though, this blog is a colossal waste of time lol |

Adams is living of off Botts, half this Team is still player's brought in by Botts. Other than drafting almost every player that Adams has signed or acquired has SUCKED. Fabulous he might be a good at Drafting but JJP is the only one doing anything. Granato has been horrible with some bad decisions but he plays the players he's given. This is a failure from starting at the GM and as they say " Sh!t Rolls Down Hill" - Buff36
“Players he was given”
It’s a coaches decision who dresses
So Erik Johnson over Ryan Johnson is a granato mistake.
Playing greenway in the top 6 and PP1 - Adams didn’t decide that. That’s on Granato
Playing Okposo up in the top 3 lines - that’s a granato decision
Adams calls up Kulich. Granato plasters him to the 4th line. Real nhl teams fyi would slide Kulich in a top 6 or top 9 spot and not the 4th line. That’s on Granato.
You blame Adams for Granato mistakes.
Granato also couldn’t help coach and fix tage tuch and cozens. Who still have been horrendous this year for what they are supposed to be as players.
Also Granato right now can’t find any lines right now other than Tuch tage and JJ
The rest are flat and dead. That’s on the coach.
Granato failed

Granato did indeed fail, for the reasons you gave and several others... Like retaining his Asst Coaches, heavy reliance on Vets, system design and implementation, style of play... and it goes on.
Adams is complicit as well, to say the least. Bringing in Jost, Okposo, Girgensons, EJ, Cliffy is just a a head-scratcher at best...that is 20% aof the roster that is actual bird turd.
Slow playing to not block prospects was utter BS. He is unable to close a deal, wastes time and energy pursuing guys who do-not-want-to-be- here while having a hard time grasping the idea that roster building simply requires different talents and styles rather than all players fitting a mold ..i.e. mix of playmakers, finishers, grit guys, finesse, high skill, high compete, leaders, followers.
It is more art not so much science. He doesn't have the ability to read the signals his roster is sending him.
Let's not absolve Mr Dense-five-head. In fact, he needs to grow a pair and fire Granato and take the Pegula heat.
Do you think Adams is able to overcome all this? I certainly don't and don't want him anywhere near the next phase.
All that said, Kevyn likely isn't going anywhere and probably not Granato either.
So here we are..."everybody, everybody knows this is nowhere". That should be the 2024-2025 Opening Night song. |

I will bet you a thousand Dollars that it wasn't just Granato's choice on who played. No way was E. Johnson sitting or Girgensons or Okposo. And never said it wasn't partially Granato's fault, and he did help with Tage, Tuch, Cozens. They all had career years last year and played like sh!t at points this Year. And he is living of the players he was given, because a lot are from the Botts era.
I have No problem blaming Granato for this Sh!t show, but Adams sits at the Head of the table and it's his job to bring the right pieces in to finish the puzzle and he's done a crapoy job with that. |

I heard Sneaky Joe calling for the Sabres to sign Stamkos. Glad they are on-board.
Wonder where they got that idea from?
Next, I would expect him to jump on the trade Thompson for Tkachuk suggestion. |

I like this take. Donny has some poop on his shirt, but Adams has the stuff dripping off his shoulders. Can only do so much with a C grade lineup. |

There's Talent on this Team, just think they need that 1 player that can Lead them out of Hell( Stamkos) type. And they need to add some complimentary players that can get gritty and Dirty and when the time calls for it throw some Knuckles. |

I will correct you. And because we need to stop throwing this word around so casually. Talent.
Talent is rare. Talent is a natural aptitude or skill.
95% of professional athletes aren’t talented. 100% of professional athletes are skilled.
These guys work their entire lives to play a professional sport. They develop their skills over decades of rigorous training.
That’s literally what the problem is in professional sports and almost everywhere else on a smaller scale.
Ed Sheeran said it himself: Hard work is more important than talent.
Talent, in my experience, is rarely noticed, often shunned and generally regarded as an unfavorable trait. Coming from a society that chose which fruit and vegetables to breed based off looks and not taste, this isn’t surprising.
So no, Buff36, there’s actually very little talent on this team. Not the players, not the coaches, not management or ownership.
Buffalo as a whole fails to recognize talent and leadership on a massive scale and this city will continue to be a mediocre poop hole until you demand better. |

My issue is that there's nearly a zero percent chance a guy like Stamkos would come here.
