It's pretty much 100% certain, though, that it came from a lab, something you couldn't say in 2020 without being eviscerated. Even now, the narrative pedaled by the main stream is "so what?" rather than "we got it wrong". That doesn't necessarily mean that it was some deep state conspiracy to control the masses.
