No accountability no structure dont practice hard enough. Isn't it funny how some of us have been saying this all year and now it's coming out?
The GM sat on his hands all season, after sitting on them all offseason. The GM brought back the 'leaders' on the ice and thinks girgensons is the fabric of the organization. Lol it all smells like incompetence. Kyle okposo is a (frank)ing loser
I remember cozens speaking on okposos leadership early or perhaps before the season even started and it sounded like he was choking on his tongue trying to spit the words out. None if it was believable and the players played like it |

I wonder how embarrassed adams was when mitts made the statement about never practicing harder than he did in Colorado upon his arrival

That is awesome. Hopefully they play well. I know Wahlberg has been good. - Sabretooth9
He looks like a real horse on the wall, something we lack outside Tuch. He may surprise people, which would be a great thing for our bottom6 moving forward. |

As much as we poop in hockey in Arizona. This is one of the better send offs Ive ever heard.
Bring this dude to Buffalo. - ImThatGuy
Amen.
While we are cleaning up the house, let's send Duff and Biron off into the wild. These two are difficult at best to listen to. I actually don't mind Dunleavy and Ray but would not be heartbroken if they left. A massive cleanse to get rid of mouthpieces with no discernible talent. |

Kulich with two goals and Rosen has two assists through 2.
Savoie has 11 points in 6 WHL playoff games.
Whalberg has acclimated well to Rochester and looks great.
Ostlund just arrived.
What a time to be alive - Swedish_Jesus
And the Sabres have missed the playoffs for... *checks notes*...... 13 straight seasons.
What a time indeed. |

He's right, there is a half full part of the glass. As mediocrity goes, we're poster boys still, but with a better coaching staff and a couple additions to the bottom6, it isn't unreasonable to keep believing we can make the playoffs next year. |

Go look at the dead cap money for Minnesota.
Dean has experience maximizing a team that is several million under the cap limit.
I'm not advocating for him as a top contender, only suggesting he did a quality job despite no playoff wins with the cap roster obstacle he had to deal with.

And what was his excuse in Milwaukee?
He's never gotten the job done. Great regular season guy tho.

For the Rest of the NHL! WOO HOO - Buff36
We can't put a competent team together but in 5 years we'll give you our best players for some players 5 years away and then in 5 years when they're kinda good but the team isn't we'll sell em off again for more players 5 years away and some fans will rejoice that we have awesome prospects only to remember we had awesome prospects before but due to incompetency it didn't work, but it will work this time, just wait for my predictions to come true.
Just You Wait.

Top 5 GM
"I knew we weren't giving enough from the start of the year, I know our coach was an idiot but I was to busy at the cottage making smores and being happy about our prospect pool I forgot to actually put some damn work in on this team"

What will the new coach have to do to get the roster ready to play consistently at a winning level? How long does that take to implement and then gauge its success?
Are you confident in goal next season?
Are you confident the defense can hold up to the regular season, let alone the playoffs?
What are you expecting from the offense next year? How many quality depth players are you anticipating Adams signing?
On top of all of this, how do you see the special teams performing next season?
How does a coach come into an organization micromanaged by the owner, make the necessary changes and how does that coach maintain the new standards he wants to uphold?
The core is signed and paid, they are loyal to the GM who loves them (literally). It's unreasonable IMO to put all of that on a coach, regardless of veteran status. At the end of the day its employee vs employer, Pegula will do what he wants.

I'm not even sure we can say we are good at drafting, simply that we still have some high quality prospects on their way. Rosen's work on Jobst's goal yesterday was a work of art. He's really gotten stronger. Kulich is scoring again, he'll be a great addition to the PP unit on Tage's offside. Ostlund and Wahlberg look the part. Savoie has mastered juniors at least. RyJo looking good.
I get that it's hard to see the half full part, no argument, but it is there. |

Owen Power was amazing, head and shoulders above his draft class right?
Dahlin was the next Bobby Orr....right? |
