Roslovic getting all the reps with Mika/Kreider; Rempe getting all the reps with Goodrow/Vesey so far. No reps yet for Chytil or Brodzinski. |

I'm all for Chytil coming back but if Wilson or Oshie start targeting him the team better swarm hard. Trouba trains galore. Cuylle may fill some of the physical presence so we don't need to run Rempe for every game. I'd rather this be a skill on skill match but we know how the playoffs get and you can't ignore the history. - fourtrax23
Really glad to have Cuylle in the lineup for the playoffs. Think he is going to thrive. |

I think this makes sense. Fil belongs in top 6 Blue. And, keeping him out and Rempe in for game 1, until we get a sense of the temperament of the series also makes sense. |

Exactly what I would do. Put Rempe in for game 1 and see how the series goes from there. Also despite his lack of certain skills at this point, like it or not, the crowd loves him and can definitely help if the Rangers, for whatever reason, come out flat. |

Only thing that scares me is he has gotten overly amped up before and taken dumb penalties, which i'm sure the playoff atmosphere won't help lol. Just don't want him doing dumb crap that puts us down a man. |

yep, agreed, and have him get into Lindgren's head in front
if TJ was the goalie, I'd certainly encourage everyone on the team to spear him in the balls

100% - He reminds me of early Callahan. Hard to not like a guy like that on the team.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed Cuylle has slowed down a bit? I'm guessing he is adapting to this type of schedule. Probably more games and travel then hes ever played. |

I think it's just his game maturing. His defensive game has really been impressive. I could see him in a few years being a stand out power forward. Something about his game reminds me of Bill Guerin.

Yeah I agree with this. I wish that line would put the puck in the net more. |

I dont know if I see Callahan, to me Cally was always a little engine that could kind of guy, a guy trying to prove himself over his lack of size who over the years had a hard time staying healthy
Cuylle is big and potentially gonna be a mean SOB in this league

Awesome to see Chytil back. I just don't know how much we can expect from him if he plays in the first round. Hasn't played since what, October/early November? Think he's gonna need some time to get back into game shape. - mdw7413
I think the question is:
Is our lineup deeper with a game shape Brodzinski or an out of shape Chytil? |

He's young and I think the game shape would bounce back quickly. The real question is, would you sacrifice what Brodzinski brings now for what Chytil brings in the future?
I'm 100% yes and twice on Sundays.

I feel like I am losing a lot less sleep over this than most. We are not talking about a guy who is new to this league and has never played in the playoffs before. Nor or we talking about a guy who was just cleared to skate 24 hours ago. Chytil has been ramping up to this for weeks. Obviously, once he gets in a game, he will have to adjust to the pace of play and get his legs under him, but why are we expecting that it will be so drastic? |

i think the most drastic thing for him will be if he is going to play like he used to, or alter his game to avoid getting hurt. i think that's potentially the bigger issue vs game shape or not |

ESPN just posted a ranking of the 50 best players in the postseason. Rangers have 4 on the list (Panarin at 9, Fox at 14, Shesty at 27, and Kreider at 42). Capitals have no one on the list. Although I wouldn't put much stock into it, they have both Zib and Trouba (!!!) as honorable mentions. |
