I can see them picking a D with the first selection if they are sending one of their top D prospects to another team to get some offence for the top 6.

Knowing D's take longer to develop, trading an almost ready D for a forward and replace the D with an 18yrs old that will need 2-3 years before he is ready to make the jump, I just don't see it.

They are drafting a forward, might trade down if it pays off

Since HuGo are focused on adding size and talent to the top 6, I still say if they pick at 5 and lindstrom is available, he is their guy

If you have the 2nd overall pick.... I think Levshunov is the guy to take.

People will be pissed at another defenseman but it would pretty much "set" our right side for a decade.

If you're at #3 or more, it's a complete crapshoot for me between at least 5 other guys so...

I understand the shortcomings people are seeing.

But I still love MSL. I think he's doing just fine and don't see any problems having him around for the next few years.

This opinion might change once we believe the group of player he has should perform better than they are. But that's not the case so far.

MSTL is focused on players development, this won't change next year as they are slowly bringing more team concepts.

Celebrini and Necas would change things a bit in terms of timing, it would accelerate the plan
