So the Sabres built to play that type of 1st period in the Boston game throughout the playoffs that I just watched. Buffalo would get eaten alive! IMO
- Buff36

A Boone Jenner and Yakov Trenin would help, in that regard

I don't see an avenue to making that happen, absent a season ending injury, aside from leaving spots open for some or all of them, or signing replaceable, placeholder players to start the season in positions that Rosen, Kulich and Savoie would eventually take over at some point during the season.

The result would likely mean trading or waiving the placeholders.

- kingcong39

No placeholders, it's either time to see what these kids have. Or do the right thing and go get some good Hockey players and Start trying to be a Actual Hockey Team.

Would help, think that's the biggest thing for this Team. Finding good Complimentary Pieces to fill out the Talent that's already here.

They need some compete; guys willing the pay the price. The coach will help, theoretically, but they need some high compete guys. Those two fit the bill. I know you're high on Trenin.

The Sabres could barely make a simple break out pass. So yeah. We are out classed

Yeah, think he brings alot of things we could use. Doesn't have to be him, Joshua or Hakanpaa on the backend could help. All these guys can add to the Team while protecting the Benson, JJ, Quinn's and there in no way Knuckle Draggers.

The result is one of them is probably being traded in a deal for a bigger piece.

They used Mitts to get their D-man, I think one of them gets moved for his replacement.

There just simply isn’t room for all of them.

Did you watch how pathetic Jordan greenway and Clifton were this year?

The “guys willing to pay the price” actually hurt the team.

Jordan Greenway is better than most of the bottom 6 forwards I’ve watched today.

Play him in his role, and he’s fine.

Let's be serious. Greenway couldn't hold Jenner's jock strap.

Perfectly fine with that.

He can also move up to the third line if need be in a pinch.

I’m not in the business of numbering lines, to win a cup you need to roll all 4.

I'm in the business of numbering lines if Greenway is playing above where he should be. When I see him on the ice with Tage or JJ, Cozens or Tuch...well, I know he shouldn't be on that line and I know those lines don't start with 'four'.

I’d also be 100% content with Sheldon Keefe if the Leafs fire him.

Trevling handed the guy a poop sandwich on the backend and a Swiss cheese goaltender.

As a wildcard he interests me

No they don’t, but whether it’s the “third” line or the “fourth” line I’m not losing sleep over it.

He is a player that can play a defined role and when utilized properly is a good matchup piece

Donnie didn’t realize he was able to match up lines and have defined roles for players on his team. Hopefully the next coach does

Adam’s better pull the trigger on a new coach soon. Toronto will be looking for a new coach in about 6 days.

Domi and Bertuzzi are third liners playing on a top line cause he has no other options.

Benoit, Lytrashcan, and Edmundson make up half the d-core.

Samsonov is Swiss cheese.

This Leafs team is literally 5 guys. One of them didn’t play tonight (Nylander), one of them is playing with a high ankle sprain (Marner), their $11M center is still serviceable but not worth his pay grade, and Matthews.

Idk how much blame Keefe should get for Trevlings mess.

He played in the top 6 a majority of the season and played on the PP

Unless Greenway’s faults are fixable with a new coach then he’s a total waste of a roster spot. This team can’t afford to have its role players be bad at that role. He’s plays soft and he plays lazy.

Why do you want the Sabres to turn into the laffs? You resemble fitz more by the post with your incorrect assumption skill is all that’s required on a roster.

Thinking Keefe would do anything in Buffalo is laughable.

The cabal has scrambled your brains.

A $3mm 4th liner that Adams traded away a 2nd and 5th round pick for is a top3GM type of transaction.

We thought he was a big ass dude that could throw the body and the shoulder injury was holding him back… turns out he’s just 10 ply

Listening to Minnesota fans would've made it abundantly clear how Greenway plays.

He thinks he's Tage lite.
