On the complete opposite of how good Mathews was…. Marner is a complete no show. Couple plays I got sent from game 1 and some from game 2 were embarrassing from him.

Carolina finished the game with a 110-28 shot attempt advantage. That has to be some sort of record. Also impressive they almost lost. Hey Matt where’s your winometer?

Im not sure the Penguins would've given the Rangers/Hurricanes a series, but I can bet they would've made the series more entertaining than the Islanders or Capitals will.

Gen Z are going to kill real hockey.

I am excited to see what Pickering and Koivunen can do in the playoffs for WBS. If either look really promising it will give Dubas a chance to weigh whether or not they might be ready for a spot on the big roster next year. I don't think either are ready but who knows.

Yager is having a great go in the WHL playoffs so far after having a great season. 7G 14PTS in 9 games. Hoping he has a great run, stays healthy and can compete for a roster spot out of the gate next season.

They should have paid him $12M per season if they expected him to take any hits!

I didn't realize that after next season he is a free agent. Crazy that between two players they will have $22M coming off the books another year from now. If they don't make a deep run this year I could totally see a Marner to Utah deal happening. They are going to want to be competitive asap and they definitely have the cap space to fit Marner in.
