The actual incident was when Buffalo was trying to trade Jack Eichel and during the draft there was like 5 minutes where it seemed like the Rangers had acquired him and it was a false report.

I was annoyed with the Buffalo GM over it and I played the clip from Ted where Mark Wahlberg says I really hope you get Lou Gehrig’s disease directed at that guy whatever his name was.

So. Yes. 😆

While he was coaching the team to great things in the early 70s, at same time he was wearing the GM hat, he really made a lot of (frank)ed up decisions, trades draft picks etc, that screwed this franchise for years after he was gone.
