You don’t mess with a winning lineup

Marner needs to watch from the presser to understand playoff hockey. Hasn't been too good lately.

Speaking of fake (sorry!) Did you see the acting job of Marchand to draw a penalty? That dive would make Bunting blush. Man was he crying after the game. Captain crybaby.

Bert won't let up on him now. Got him fuming bigtime

Glad they overcame that first period late goal. I have some pretty strong reservations.

Matthews played such a great game. Hopefully Nylander is back in Wednesday.

It’s nice having Jarnkrok out there. Bobby McMann would help as well.

Who wants to go into the Islanders’ thread and inform them John Tavares scored a clutch goal tonight?

Keeping a back injury quiet makes sense too. If he gets back in you know the Bruins are going to chase him around and finish checks.

I keep the lineup the same too. Home teams are 6-0 ...Leafs are fine. Leafs win 3-2 tonight if they bring the same intensity and structure, stay away from dumb penalties, get another save from Sammy, and the big boys need to finish.

It was a 2-1 game at 5v5. Flip that around and don't (frank) up on special teams.

That would be great - I agree Beer really seemed to have got under Marchand’s skin and how can you not love that?

Odd eh? Lol

:-)

I checked my heart rate history post game. I was shocked a bit it never went over 100 during the game. Maxed out at 97 at the end of the game.

Side note - it’s 14 minutes into the series but it already looks like LA will get curb stomped by the Oilers.

Who do you take out? Robertson out for Willy, but I'm not sure I want to mess with that 4th line.

Probably not enough being said about the Leafs play in the 3rd. Bawston barely got a look. Some real good shut-it-down work by Leafs. Sammy was great ...that one big save in the 3rd was yuge.

If anything… and by anything I mean a big anything… cut out Holmberg and replace him with Dewar (he played C for Minnesota). Drop Knies back down to the 4th line winger job and toss McMann back on JT’s wing.

That’s about all I can see being done if anything.

Agreed they played a great shut down game after they took the lead and killed off Bert’s penalty (on the Rat’s BS dive).

Safe to say Sammy is the game 3 starter eh? Lmao

Also Boston may have Jack Off Edward’s but the Leafs have Joe Bowan and Biz Nasty…..
