Timmins is making 1.1 and Liljegrin 1.4. something is off here
but I do think it maybe time to move from him.
being a RD help him cause the Leafs don't have to many of them

The only question mark I have when it comes to Liljegren isn’t his production on the bottom pairing (people need to stop expecting guys on that pair to be all stars) but he doesn’t really fit what is reported to be Tre’s preference when it comes to back end guys which are bigger and more physical.

puck moving RHD are hard to find...it's his only trading card. He is not great in his zone, not physical/mean, not big at 6'.

Augello must have slept in, or mom had errands for him to do. Usually has a new blog about now.

he's trapped at the boarder
he's going to be a little late checking into his airbnb while in town covering the Leafs

He takes a beating out there. He really has issues moving the puck under pressure. You need a defenseman to win puck battles and clear the front of the net. You don't get much of that with Liljegren.

I don't know if you're a religious type or not, but I will pray for you my friend. I haven't gone through anything like this, but know what having a broken neck and lots of concussion can do for your head, but those were nothing compared to what you're going through. What you have is serious and you'd be missed on here if something were to happen to you.

Prayers sent!

Thank you, I truly appreciate that. I’m sorry to hear what you’ve been through as well. Like I said tho, I’m thankful to be in Canada big time due to this so I share everything they can learn off of me to help others. Had some heart and brain match testing done today by researchers actually. Why not right? I’m already hear stuck in a bed while being treated and worked on, learn anything you want.

Yeah… and I’m iffy cause at $1.4 I don’t think he’s a rip off but I also know he’s not the new GM’s type. Interested in seeing how it plays out.

Oh yeah. They call talking anything other than hockey with him "Going to Jarvard."

He doesn't know a whole lot but he's also smart enough to know he doesn't know a whole lot and leans into it.

- BINGO!

Yeah just a down to earth kid.I loved how he grew up wanting to be a CFL player. Not an NFL player but CFL player.

Yeah… I like Edmundson too but I kind of wished he was a potential option on the right side… make the bottom pairing him and Gio if so.

Marchand said after last night's game Leafs are "built differently" this year. Leafs have made their point and it's clear to the Bruins they are not going to be intimidated. Now is time to stop the stupid retaliatory stuff and just flat out beat the Bruins with our game.

He might be in line at the Scott Mission, so he can't set up his laptop and do a new blog.

Yeah, I've recently been to the ENT specialist at Toronto General. They're amazed that my 11 months of vertigo went away from catching Covid. They'd never heard of that before.

He will be great, two way D, physical but has to learn to be protect himself, he gets hit hard from time to time. They also asked him to play his offside (play RHD instead of his natural LHD) so that didn't help with "protecting" himself.

He is one of the key guys for the Habs on D for the future, tons of leadership also.

just as expected, I'd say

always nice to see that the gut feeling that any one of those 2 guys would likely be a top4 player for a decade or more - was right

Oh wow seriously? I’m happy to hear that but I had no idea that was even possible… very cool

My lobectomy occurred in February 2021.. I recovered super fast actually… in 22 hours I passed to be released. My primary neurosurgeon said he was still keeping me though since 24 hours prior they had my skull open so he didn’t like releasing me earlier than expected. I just sighed and said “fair enough” lol

They did put me into a private room for the second night then tho for free which was nice

OMG, this.

Just drives me franking nuts.

You know Boston is franking superb at playing the rat game, and you know the refs are going to not call Boston's initial jabs - just the retaliation.

SO QUIT FRANKING TAKING STUPID RETALIATORY PENALTIIES!

I would have franking benched McCabe for life after that stupid penalty last night.

Stupid and selfish.

Actually you are right, he is developing into the player many said he could/would, no major set back. Like all players, avoid serious injuries early on, that's important for the players development.

Should be fun in a couple years with those 4 guys

Yes and no… Benoit is good but looks better with McCabe I think.

It will boil down to what happens this playoffs… I’m curious about it but I’m hoping that Tre won’t want to change all that much 🤞

Especially since the deadline Ive been happy with the Leafs physical game. They don't need to do anything extra to "establish" this in the minds of their opponents. They just need to play their game. This team is physical enough. Previous teams tried to compensate. This one doesn't need to imo.

Back in 2013, after having thyroid cancer, they put me in a private room, after giving me radioactive iodine. I was so toxic that the nurses weren't able to even come in the room for more than 15 seconds. For 3 days, I sat in a room on the top floor of Kingston General Hospital. I had to be on a no salt diet for 6 weeks beforehand and that really depleted me. They give you the radioactive iodine to attract cancer cells and kill them. I tell you, I sure enjoyed my first meal after that one. I still had to quarantine for a month at home with no contact from anyone. They burned all of my clothes and anything that was in that hospital room. They took my netbook and quarantined that for 6 months before I could use it again. They shrink-wrap the whole room, even the bathroom fixtures and the walls are padded. If you were to cut yourself, a bio-hazzard team would come in and give you a hard brushdown. No thanks! No fun that summer.
