Because it's not realistic. To Adams, he fills a hard to play against role that compliments the roster.

As for Ryan Johnson, no other prospect is as close as he is. We complain a lot around here about leaving room for guys who are actually ready. Kevyn's stance, as it has always been, is that they will play when they are ready to play.

These other guys, they can be held down justifiably. Johnson though is pounding on the door. Maybe you can get away with a year, or half year. No, you're never forced to trade him at this point of his career. But he's useful and cheap.

I personally think he makes the roster. But we were also told Kevo was interested in further changing the defense. Which probably includes Joker being traded but is there an add? And that add suddenly gets in the way of Johnson. So what the (frank) do I know.

Yeah, kinda need 4 to go and potentially some of those to be trade ups, for it to work. But I've got the feeling Beane wants to replace Diggs now instead of waiting...only those two would ensure that.

With the game getting even faster, you have to think guys like Reaves will be seen less and less. But I'm curious, does anyone think a guy like Matt Rempe will last 5 years in the league or more? He's averaged 5:38 of TOI through 17 games, so I'd imagine that's unsustainable long term, but are we still going to have teams with 11 active forwards + 1 fighter?
