I always hear this premise like they need to draft 2 WRs first. Why? Can they hit on one in the third fourth or fifth round?

Sure and for every Diggs and Milano there are 15-20 guys who never make it. The success rate farther down the draft plummets.

Not saying you can’t find guys there chances are historically low

this team needs depth and now has 8 picks in the next 4 rounds for depth

the price to trade up to the top 9 was probably too much


my guess is they did not like thomas more than coleman, ladd , mitchell or franklin


hell they could move up with one of the picks they got with their late 2nd and grab 2 of these wrs


or they could trade for one of the san fran wr's
