Lindy coming back to mixed reviews of the fans. Here is my hot take.

First off, the nostalgia is heartwarming. Seeing him back in here is amazing. He loves this city, he lives here and seeing him in interviews is awesome.

Secondly, I do think its the right hire in my opinion. Two year contract is really low risk high reward. The writing is on the wall that its playoffs next year or bust.

I got a good feeling that Adams will listen to Lindy Ruff, Adams will bring in the guys needed to win(Hopefully) and this town is ready to get behind Lindy.

Win Lindy and there will be a statue of you at city hall.

Lindy is about to be gifted a team with 2 very good goaltenders. That's a huge lift in terms of stability. Like Dahlin said before the hire that they need to "Work their asses off this summer". The post season is an entire world they need to open for themselves. Especially with no bad goaltending excuse.

I hope Lindy comes in with the help of Adams building a Complete Team and Teaches these Kids how to play 60 minutes of Hockey. Leave it all on the ice. Of course I want him to Help Teach them to Win. But compete consistently and the wins will come with that too.

I remember when the Broncos brought back Wade Phillips after a failed coaching stint.

He then coached a top 5 defence in NFL history and the Broncos won SB 50.

Top to bottom, that 2006 team (and 2007 for that matter) had a better roster than the 1997 and 1998 teams. The difference between Hasek and Miller, while wide, was a lot narrower than the skaters on those teams.

I just watched the Islanders give up nearly 120 shot attempts last night and had 5 SOG the last 40 minutes of play and we still don’t think the Sabres aren’t a playoff team without capable coaching ?

Washington made the playoffs with a -30 goal differential.

I think he will help, but he has no muscle behind him...I am very curious to see how much involvement he has on roster build out.

My Son got approached at School by a bunch of Protesters Today. Wanted him to Join the Cause. They didn't like when He walked away.
