2- year deal for a player with potential upside I am fine with. The AAV is high though. Hopefully he is able to handle the workload of a 1B in the NHL. |

better late than never. but with that fiasco last summer didn't think we'd see him for another 2 years. Good for him. |

The new equipment would explain a couple of dropped glove saves. There’s no reason to believe we won’t be a decent NHL goalie and 2 years is reasonable. The salary shouldn’t be a bother since who else is the team going to spend money on the next year or two? We either but in to the so-called rebuild and live with 2 Flyers drafted goalies or we complain that they didn’t spend premium money on a second goalie. |

3.25M to an absolutely unproven back up goalie is insane.... |

Hopefully they deal someone at the draft for picks but I’m not holding my breath. |

Yup, they are on track to clear cap space next summer. Really wonder if they try and extend York this summer. Might save a little on average if they get it done this summer. |

It’s sort of slowly coming together though right? This is a tankjob next year. I think they’re putting it together |

No issues with the goalie situation. Way down the list of dysfunction for the Flyers. |

And I don't think that includes Brink, who is an RFA and needs to be resigned. - MBFlyerfan
Damn, I knew I forgot something.
Also, Zamula, but I dunno if they want him back.

Considering he hadn't played in a year, the first half was not so good but he got better in the second half

I thought he looked pretty decent in his first game here. The next two times he played were a mess, but not all on him. |

I think he will be fine after more practice time, finally able to break in equipment and working with his new teammates more.

Id trade at least TK and Laughts, i would rather get a prospect than a pick. Wonder if a deal could be worked out with Buffalo for TK. They could be interested in getting a player than can jump in and contribute right away instead of waiting another year or two. Same with Ottawa. Those teams that are getting bounced in the 1st round could be looking to add also.

We thought that this season. Not necessarily "tank" but no one was thinking 3rd in the metro in parts of March.

I think they will. I don’t think they will just roll it back next year for a variety of reasons but I think the biggest is Jones and Co want to keep the Flyers in the news for good or for bad. They will do something. |

The problem is torts is too good to get them to tank properly. He squeezes wins out of a talentless roster
